Chapter 5: The new dance captain is...

I couldn't sleep all night because I couldn't stop thinking about this message that Jessy sent to me... She sent me a screen shoot on the conversation between Ella and Abi, and it wasn't really nice to see...
The conversation was this:
Ella: hey abs how is everything going?
Abi: Everything is great thx, but we need 2 think about sth to make Briar and Myles break up
Ella: I know, but it seems impossible, Myles seems to know what we wanna do, and he fights for Briar, he really likes her...
Abi: That's why we r here right? 2 make Myles fall in love with me again.
Ella: I know. Well I gotta get a shower, see u later
Abi: k bye
How could Abi do this to me? AGAIN? She has like an obsession with him, that's not good tho... I don't know what's up with her, she has to understand that we like each other and that we are dating, it's not that difficult to deal with, I guess...
So next day Jessy's mum picked up me to go to dance, since we are going to nationals, we have rehearsals every single day 6 hours, but it's fun!
As soon as we arrived to dance I saw Myles waiting for me, well it's normal because he always waits for me, and we all went to dance.
As soon as Ella saw Myles and I, her face changed from happy to "I wanna kill someone plz", like come on... You should have seen her,
It was hilarious...
- Hey sweetie! Ready for dance?
- Ella, do not call me sweetie and do not talk to me anymore...
- Why not?
- Because I don't want to okay?
- You are having a bad day, just relax and stay WITH ME!
- Huh? I said no! Stop it
- Okay fine.. Bad day...
She needs to go to the doctor, this girl is not good.
So later on Ms. Kate told us to start rehearsing the semi finals routine, and she put Ella on the back row, actually for me, this means that Ella isn't a good dancer and she is only here because she is her niece, they have the same blood, and she wants to make her happy, and with "not a good dancer" I mean that maybe she is good but she is not at the level of the whole team...
We are at Nationals, we have to make sure we have the best dancers, and maybe putting Ella here will destroy the team, why? Because she just arrived and she has been causing a lot of drama, and after reading Abi and Ella's conversation, I know that something will happen...
- Okay guys, great job with the new routine, but now, I've been talking with some of the people who manage everything from Nationals and stuff and they told me that to go there we need a dance captain!
Dance captain? That was amazing! My dream has always been being a dance captain on cdc!
- So, who of you wants to be the new dance captain?
I raised my hand, of course I wanted to be! But as soon as I raised it Abi did the same, and also Ella...
- Well, so now that we have 3 people, I want you guys to choreograph a trio, and then everyone will vote, including the people who danced in the trio.
Ms.Christy told us the trios and we all went to rehearse, we had 24 hours.
In my team I had Jessy, Kolton and Devon, but I was worried because Myles was in Abi's team with two other girls!
How bad...
Well I wasn't really happy having Kolton because I knew we were not friends, he lied to me and he also has been having feelings for Abi, that's not good...
The worst part of it is that Abi knows it, and she would do anything...
Later on, I saw Kolton and Abi talking, I don't know why, but I had to do something...
- hey Kolton, we are in the middle of our rehearsal, what are you doing?
I saw Abi whispering something to Kolton, maybe it's because they started dating, or not... Well I don't really care...
- Yeah...! I'm sorry...
- It's okay, but come back hurry
As soon as he arrived we did the choreography once again, and I was really happy! All of them worked really hard and it was perfect! I was so proud
- Good job all of you! I'm in love with how you all danced!
We are definitely ready!
We are going to do a warm up and then we will go to studio a to perform it!
So we all started warming up, I wanted all them to be ready! We already warmed up before starting but I wanted to do a quick one again to make all of them feel comfortable and ready to perform.
- Great job! Let's go to studio a and we will have a break there
When we arrived to studio a we all went to grab our water, we were so exhausted, but Kolton... He went with Abi and they started talking and they started starring at us, it was weird...
- Okay guys! Time is over!
I gave you all this day, so I hope you guys are ready to perform!
Everyone was ready, I was really nervous, but I knew they were gonna kill it!
- First, Abi's team!
Abi's team performed their trio, it was really good, but I was confident with my team!
Myles was killing it out there!
I wished he was in my team...
When they just finished, Abi hugged Myles saying:
- You were the best really good!
Myles tried to pull her off, but it was impossible, well, it's Abi lol.
- Briar's team on the floor!
When Ms.Christy called my team, I was really nervous, and really excited to see them!
The music started and Devon did his flip, okay seriously, it was the best flip I've ever seen! He gave it all there!
But then, they stated dancing and... Kolton seemed like he was a zombie, what was he doing?! Was he trying to throw up the dance?!
He started pushing Jessy and Devon over and over, Ms.Christy wasn't really happy...
- Okay STOP! That's enough!
What is going on?
- What are you doing Kolton? Why are you dancing like that!
You didn't dance like this while we were rehearsing!
- We didn't rehearse too much...
- What?! We did it all day!
- No... We should rehearse more...
I couldn't believe it! Why was he doing this to me?!
- Well Briar, Abi's team was clean, well choreographed and good rehearsed, yours was not, it seems like all of this is not that important to you!
- Is this a joke?!
- No it's not, we will se Ella's trio and we will see
I was really mad! Why did he do this to me?!
When Ella's team performed, they were also clean and no one failed... I was really scared, now it's obvious that I'm not gonna be dance captain...
- Okay guys, now I'll be choosing the winner, and the new dance captain is... ABI!
I couldn't believe what was happening.. Thanks to Kolton my dream was never gonna become true...
