Chapter 11: Depressed and hurt

While I was walking to Elite, I couldn't stop thinking about what happened with Myles... I know there was still something between us, but, thanks to Abi,
that was disappearing, all I wanted was to move on, well I missed CDC, but I knew that the best thing for me was to move on, I knew Elite was the right choice...
As soon as I arrived there, Jenn and I hugged, and she decided to show me all the studio so I can be comfortable with it, and I met some awesome people there! But... I think that the dance captain hated me, her name was Sam, and when she saw me, I knew for a fact that she wasn't really happy, but I don't know why...
- Um... Jenn... The dance captain doesn't look really happy for me being here...
- Ugh... Her name is Sam, she has been the dance captain for 2 years in a row now... She is so strict and she is always shouting at us... She is a little mad for you joining the team because she knows you are really good and she is scared about it...
- Well, I can live with that, but, I'm new, there's no reason why she should be doing this to me...
- I know... Well, get changed and let's start!
All what Jenn told be about the dance captain, actually scared me, but hey, what could I do...
As soon as I got changed, Sam got her eyes on me, and shouted:
- Oh! So you are the new girl...!
- Yeah... I'm Briar! Nice to meet you
- I'm Sam, the dance captain of Elite Dance Academy, and just for you to know, if you wanna make a good impression on your first day, arriving late is not a really good tip for it, stay at the back row and follow us, get it?
- Um... Fine...
The dance captain was so strict, and then they started doing their semifinals routine, how was I supposed to learn it by watching it only one time? I'm not a robot... I didn't know what to do, I was lost, I didn't know the choreography at all...
- Okay guys, stop... Briar, what the heck are you doing?
- I don't know the choreography and I think that's really obvious, I just arrived, by watching the choreography one time I'll not be able to kill it...
- Um... Okay, whatever... Jenn, why don't you both go to the other room and you teach her the choreography, so she can pick it up for a time in her life?
- Sure...
Sam was starting to irritate me, I mean, why is she being so mean to me? I didn't do anything to her...
- Well, so... Briar, can I ask you something
- For sure
- What happened with you and Myles...?
- It's just... Hard to explain...
- Briar, we have been friends for 7 years now, you know I will always be there for you, you know you can trust me!

- Take a breath, and start...
- One day, I walked in the studio and Myles was a avoiding me, he didn't want to talk to me, he ignored me... And then when I asked him what was going on, he just, broke up with me... He was all the time with Abi, and I started to thing that maybe Abi had something to deal with this...
- Oh no... And then?
- Then Jessy and I made up a plan when we had a "fight" so it would seem like if she hated me and she could join Myles and know what was going on with him, and she found out... He told Jessy that Abi showed him a photo where Devon and I were holding our hands and an audio where Devon said " I love you Briar" and I said "I love you Devon" and I don't know how the hell she did that...
- Are you serious? You were dating Devon, or...
- Of course NOT
- Wow... That's, shocking...
- I know... And when I was walking here I found Myles, and he started to talk to me and...
- And...?
- He told me that he loved Abi, and that he thought I loved him... And I told him I did, but he didn't believe me... He trusted Abi... Before me...
- That's hush wow... I will talk to Myles today by skype, and tomorrow I will tell you everything he told me, plan?

It's nice knowing that I still have friends like Jenn and Jessy, but I actually feel, lost... Well a lot of the people from CDC sent me texts telling me to come back and that they missed be, but... I don't think they were real...
