Chapter 4: His Deepest Side

“I said stop it!!” I was beyond angry at Minhyun, making some troubles again. I’m so tired of doing this again and again.

“Look out!” some students yelled at the same time. I quickly glimpse to see a big body going on my side. I plan to get out of his body but it’s too late. Before I can able to dodge, I already hit by that body of Jerry, Minhyun’s rival. I roared in pain as I hold my forehead. Ow, that’s too much! Minhyun finally notice me, half lying on the floor.

“Hey you!! Get out before you get hurt.”

I stood up angrily and turned to him saying,”I hurt already, can’t you see it?” I tried to punch him but he’s too fast to dodge all of it.

“Not so quite, I won’t let you hurt me once more.” He grin and pushed me out in the wall, He didn’t seem to expect to be that hard as I cried in pain.

“Oh.. S-sorry..” he scratches his head. Sounds like he didn’t mean that sorry! I’m so mad now!

“You bastard!!” I walked away. That jerk, I hate him.

“Oh my…” I said as I check myself in a small mirror. Looks like there’s a lemon inside my forehead. His fault! What’s his problem? Why do I need to suffer like this?!

“Oh… You’re here.” Minhyun said as he walks to where I was. By the way, I’m in the rooftop. I want to scream all my anger to him!

“What?” I asked rudely but didn’t wait him to answer back..”What the hell is your problem? I always got into trouble when you’re around.. And also, why aren’t you wearing a proper uniform? Rubber shoes? Are you insane? This is a respective school so do something about it before tomorrow, got it?” 

“Yaah! Shut up!” he shouted. I froze. “And step off! I don’t need you ragging on my fashion. You’re crossing way over the line! Don’t get up my business..”

“I’m just doing it for your sake. Don’t you get it?”

“Leave me alone!” he walked away and slam the door close. What should I say? I’m too desperate to win against him. Suddenly, the door swung open, revealing Minhyun’s feature. I look at him and felt something uneasy. As I stared at those eyes, I can see that he’s worried for someone.. It clearly show his deepest side. What the hell? It’s filled with sadness and emotion, looks like he’s hiding for something… Seriously, is this guy in front of me is Minhyun?  

“W-why? D-don’t worry I won’t bother you again..” I said to him.

“Uh here..” he handed me a box of bandaid..”S-stick one on..” he said, scratching his head again. When the atmosphere became cold, he exited the room.

“A whole box….. For me?” I said to myself. He gave this to me? Really?

I started to think about him. Why is he acting so soft? What’s his hiding? But, I really feel that he is kind. It’s just that, he don’t know how to express it. The bad boy that he is showing is all a lie. I want to help him. I want to see him with his smile. His happy side… And that’s what I’m going to do. I want to help him go out to the dark side that he’s currently staying…
