“Stupid” I slammed myself on the innocent chair. That guy is annoying. Look, I just want to help him but instead of thanking me he said something bad. I hate people like him. I’m just thinking if I deserve this kind of treatment. How can I read someone’s mind? I don’t have powers, I’m not a superwoman. I’m just a small, stupid girl..

“What’s the problem Ms. Shorty~” Nara, one of my friend sat next to me. She’s the first one to calls me ‘Shorty’ because you know, she’s more taller than me..

“Looks like your having a hard time Ms. School President..” Jury teased me. Imagine, I became a school president.. Hello, I’m not popular and few students recognize me so every time I do my duty I feel like a wind to them. Just like yesterday, I caught some guy students wearing a fiercing so I scolded them. They just laugh and left me hanging like an idiot. Uh, pesky students.

“Ponpon?” Smile drew on my face as I heard a familiar voice coming behind me. I tilted my head to see Ren. Oh gosh, he looks so handsome today. Oh not only today, I mean he always look so good..

“A- Are you looking for the cookies? Oh, here I brought som-“

“No, I’m not hungry.. I just want to ask if you can teach me about English..”

I feel very bad for that. I thought he’s looking for my baked cookies. Oh I didn’t mention that I’m good at English…only English.

“Can you?”

“O- Of course I can. I’m not that busy so I’ll teach you.” I smile at him. It means I can stay more longer with Ren all alone!!

“Then see you at lunch.. Also, I miss your delicious cookies. Bye~” Omo, he smiled at me. He then goes to his seat not far from where I am. He said he likes my baked cookies!!

“Shorty? Oh looks like she’s out of her mind. Sigh, how about I asked Ren to go out with me after school? Isn’t that a great idea?” I look evilly ti Nin. She stuck her tongues out and run as she escape from me. “I- I’m just joking!!”

“Yeah, I’ll definitely slug you if you do.. Only Ms. Shorty can go out with Choi Minki.” Shai wrapped her arms around me. That’s why I love her, she always help me to win against Nin.

“Someone help!! Minhyun smock Jun’s face with no reason!!” One of my jerk classmate yelled in desperation. I stood up and get my harisen (*harisen means a big paper fan). Looks like my duty is to stop them.

“JUN!!!” a girl screamed. I saw Minhyun toss his hand in the air, aiming to slap the girl. Luckily I’m faster than they thought.

He was beyond shock when he hit his hand to my face instead of the girl. His warm palm makes my cheek burns with the impact.

I haven’t been slap that hard in my entire life. My step mother always does it but of course it’s different. How can a guy slap me in face?!

“Gosh, Hyun Mi!!” my friends shouted. Wow, it’s been a while since they call me with my real name. It feels so good. I expected my friends to come up and help me but instead of them, I feel a pair of strong arms around my shoulder. I look to see an angry Ren beside me. Ren is mad!! Wow, I didn’t expect this to happen. I was just thinking, if ever Minhyun didn’t slap me Ren wouldn’t be in my side now. Well, I should thank him for that.

“Ponpon, gwenchanayo?” He squeezes my shoulder. I nodded silently.

“Say sorry to her!!” I trembled as he shouted. It’s my first time to hear Ren being like that.
