Chapter 15: Touring Part 2

We hid on a tree without letting her go.

“Do it again, or I’ll not forgive you.” I whispered. I slowly release my grip and she’s more suprice when she saw me.

“N-Noan?”

“I need to go.” I said to her but she quickly held my hand.

“Why? Don’t you see it? She don’t like you.. She likes that guy Minhyun.. So why don’t you stop?”

I just stared at her. I don’t know what to say, and I don’t want to say anything.

“Don’t you hear me? I said—“

“I HEARD IT. I HEARD IT CLEAR.”

“…..Then?”

I must say that Nikki was very true to herself. She can tell anything without hesitation. I smiled and turn around.

“But still.. I’ll fight for her..” I said and left her.

I thought she will stop making some troubles after that. She would follow her around and aims to hit or trip her but the luck isn’t working with her. I watch her as she stuble on the floor, leaving a small bruise in her legs. I was about to help her when she yelled.

“HELP! NOAN DID THIS TO ME!” at first, I frown.. I didn’t do anything. The students were gathered around and some of them help her to stand. I walked next to them.

“What happened, Nikki?” they asked.

“Noan’s fault!” the student looked at each other in confusion. Looks like my luck was on me.

“Then, if no one hurts you, what really happened to you?”

“Don’t you get me? I said, Noan did this to me!!” she kept yelling that and many students got irritated and left her. There, she saw me looking at her.

“THERE! NOAN DID THIS TO ME!HE PUSHED ME!!” she yelled desperately. The student looked at my direction back to Nikki.

“Who? We only see Ren.. He didn’t do anything to you.”

“Huh? R-Ren? I thought—“

“NIKKI!!” she was cut off by her mother. I watched them as her mother scolded her. Everyone ignores her after that. They must be thinking that she’s insane or what. Just like what happened to Homer’s story, Odyssey.. Odysseus introduced himself as ‘No one’ to the giant just to save his life. When he succeeded on darting the eye of Cyclops, the giant rushed to his brother to called for help. They ignore him as he yelled that no one blinded him..

Such a nice story, I thought. And it happens to Nikki..

“Ren!!” I heard Hyun Mi’s voice, I looked up at her. “Oh… Hello~” I greeted him with a cute tone.

“Reeenn!!! You’re so cute!” she said, wearing a sweet smile. I chuckled.

“Oh, by the way.. I heard about Nikki..”

“Don’t worry about it..”| I told her, but then she shook her head.

“Are you hurt? What the hell came to her mind to blame you on what happened? I don’t really get her..”

“Hey~ I said, don’t worry about it. And just don’t mind her, I don’t understand her too!” we both smile at each other when something came in to my mind to ask her.

“May I ask?”

“Of course..”

“If you are given a chance to choose between two person.. Who will it be?”

She frown at me. “It depends….”

“I mean, what if the two guys love you, and you felt the same way too.” Suddenly she stopped. Did she get what I mean?

“W-Why are you asking me that? I-I don’t know… Really, I’m sorry Ren, I can’t answer your question.”

I suddenly felt disappointed of what she said. Maybe, she can’t answer it now.. I hope…. She’ll choose me..

No matter what happens, I’ll be there on her side. I won’t give up.. I won’t give up on you, Hyun MI. If ever there’s someone who’ll try to hurt her, I’ll be there to protect her. I’m not in the place to do that, but I can’t take to see her crying..

I can’t see her being with him anymore…

Minhyun….. You will be my rival from now on….
