Akim walked back into his home. He saw the mess him and his mother had created. He saw her in the middle looking around, not knowing what to do. She had woken up in the town jail, they released her since she was calm over night. He had slept here, alone in the messed up house, in his room. Her eyes were red, it looked like she cried. A lot. Walking towards her at this point he was at least an inch taller than her. Wrapping his arm around her he hugged her tight. He could hear her making a sob, as she broke down again. She hugged back, Akim trying to keep the tears in. One was already coming down, then another one on the other eye.
"Im... Sorry" His mother said, his hand softly grazing her head. He only nodded. "Me Too." Akim Said.
They ended their weeping and went on with their business, his mother cleaning the mess, while Akim was back in his room. He saw the magic book that he used. Picking it up he looked at it with distaste. Placing it in his bag, he had some plans for that book, as well as some clothing and other traveling materials like a knife, little bit of food.
As he looked through his room, he caught a glimpse of his face from his mirror. Stopping midway to get a better look, he noticed something, there was a scratch on his chin, that wasn't there before. His hair was long, nose a bit long, green eyes.
As he gathered his things, he could hear a loud noise come from downstairs, it was the sound of dishes hitting the ground hard. Grabbing whatever he saw within his field of vision he grabbed his bag and started heading downstairs. "You ok mom" Akim asked.
She was standing in the kitchen now, one hand on the counter and another one on her head. She looked like she was having a migraine, a pot was on the ground the lid right next to it. There was also a water dripping from the edge of the counter onto the floor. "Yea. Yea. Im fine." She said, she looked towards Akim, noticing the bag.
"You going somewhere?" She asked.
Akim looked at the bag and realized that he hadn't told her yet. "Oh... yea i-uh, me and Broon made a plan to head for Terrenus... you know, to see the meeting with the swords" Akim said.
She looked at him for a while, it seemed like it was forever, as if she was lost in her own head. "Ok." She said. Turning to the pot, picking it up.
Akim was confused, looking at his mother he wanted to say something but he was scared if he said anything else she would change her mind. Walking towards the door, dodging the two holes she made when she dropped down, as well as the broken picture frames on the floor. He was outside, since the door was no longer a door. More like an art piece.
The sun was still rising, they had woken up early. Akim started heading towards the forests main path. The forest was known for its high wolf population. They were lucky to have Broons dad, his magic skills keep the population at check and feeds the village since their soil isn't that well to grow anything other than potatoes. As he walked to the huge gap in the forest outline, he couldn't see anyone, meaning he was early. No sign of Broons father either.

Broon already had his bags packed. But there was a problem. He was going to need to dodge Cyndi, cause he almost certainly knew that she and her sister were going to jump her if he tried to leave the normal way. He couldn't find any magic books, but he was hoping if his father could give them anything. Climbing through the window, the same way they did when he dodged Cyndi's mom. He jumped down, luckily though, it was already towards the direction towards the main path, he could see that Akim was already there, and to the right he saw that his father was already walking towards that direction, this time he had a backpack, and was still holding the two books that Cyndi had.
