Dear Diary,
Gabe got $50 for his birthday. It's lost now. We've looked everywhere bit can't find it. Mabye it's in the couch. I told him that and he laughed at me. He said change isn't really in couches that's just a cartoon thing. Gabe is smart. He listens to that words his parents say and uses them. He sounds so smart. I wish I was smart.

Dear Diary,
Gabe's parents have been fighting. His parenst have started using words like asshole and bitch. I don't know what they mean, gabe doesn't either. His Dad left the house. His Dad got back a few minutes later with some kind of bottle it looked cool. Me and Gabe followed him and watched him. He drank it. All of it. By the time he was done tears were falling out of his eyes. I wanna know why he's sad. I bet the bottle just had something in it that stings your eyes. Like onions,they hurt people's eyes yet people still eat them.His dad left again. Idk where Gabe's Mom went. She left too. Me and Gabe were alone for a while. He got scared so I hugged him. He cried and I hugged him tighter. He said he was scared that the died. I told him they didn't but I didn't actually know.

We never found Gabe's money. Gabe's Mom never came back. His dad did. Gabe was sad about his mom. His dad was too. It made me sad also.
