Today me and my bestie Gabe went to the park together for his birthday. He just turned 8!! The cake was really good and we played tag, hide and seek, red light green light. It was fun.

Dear Diary,
Gabe and I are really close. We do almost everything together. Today we were at the pool and he took off his shirt to get in the water. I didn't get why he was shirtless. My Mom always told me I had to wear a bathing suit top or cover up. Gabe is really smart. I took off my swim too and jumped into the water too. I thought it was right to take off my top. Gabe didn't say anything when he saw me without it on. But then a man came by and tried touching my chest when I was drying off. Gabe was in the bathroom. I felt uncomfortable. When I saw Gabe in the hallway running towards me and the man. All he said was "Get away!" and the Man left. I didn't get it. What was wrong with my body?

Dear Diary,
I figured it out. I'm a girl. Girl's aren't allowed to take off their shirts. I don't know why. Gabe said he would rarely take his shirt off infront off anymore. He said it's unfair that I can't take mine off. I'm sad now. What's wrong with my body?
