As I get ready for school the next day, I can't help but daydream of all the different scenarios of how Blade could whisk me off my feet. Unfortunately, knowing that he would never do anything of the sort, I hurry and slip on shoes and rush out the door. The bus ride was boring, as always. The boys in the back being the loudest as they make fun of each other.
When I get to school, I'm surrounded by all of my friends. One of my other best friends, Mariah, walks up beside me and yells in my ear. "Ow!"
The bell rang and groups of students walked by in different directions. Me and my friends continued talking in the middle of the hallway. "Come on, Paige. Lets walk outside", said Mariah.
I shrug in response. We walk outside the double-doors into the cool, crisp, morning air. Lenice was joining us on our early morning trip. "Hi peoples", she exclaims jumping in front of us. Mariah screamed and jumped back, frightened. We began laughing, a few people checking out the commotion.
We walk back into the school onto a different hall. Mariah and I sing a One Direction song as Lenice follows confused of what song it is. Students glare at us for our loudness so early in the morning. Lenice then left our stupidity before she was late to Gym.
Me and Mariah continued walking up and down the hall repeatedly, seeing friends arriving on occasion. When the warning bell rang, we sped to our first classes of the day, mine being American Government. We did our little handshake and entered our classes. The late bell rang and a few rebel students walked in and took their seats.
Class droned on and we learned, joked, and prayed for time to go faster. God answers my prayers as the bell rings some time later. I met Mariah out in the hallway heading out to our 2nd blocks. We headed towards the doors leading outside, joking and laughing the entire time. Once we get outside, I can't help but notice one of my old crushes, River, glancing at me from time to time. I was content knowing that he can't keep his eyes off of me.
We continue walking until we get to the stairs and part our seperate ways. I was heading towards the magnet building for Music Theory, or as I call it, my gateway to Hell. We learned, reviewed, talked, laughed, and went to the bathroom at different points of the class period. At some point, the teacher thinks it was a good idea to throw a marker at a delinquent student .

Time goes by and the bell rings. When I exit the classroom, I wait beside the chorus room for my singing companions. When they finally come out, we walk to the cafeteria with Shaurese telling us one of her hilarious moments of life. Once in the cafeteria, I say hi to some friends before heading to gym. The warning bell rings, signaling me to hurry up.
"See you later guys!"
I rush down the stairs to the gym, meeting up with Jessica, Ebony, and Leilani. We enter the gym doors, taking a seat on the bleachers. Once we're done taking attendance, we go to the locker room to kill some time. Most of the time, we spent talking, listening to music, playing games, and laughing.
The bell rang telling us that it is our turn to eat. We rush up the stairs, hurrying to beat the lunch rush. Once we finally got our mediocre lunches, we sat in our desired seats at the table. Me, Mariah, Diamond, and Jessica spent most of the lunch joking around, making the table burst with laughter, or making one another jealous with their accomplishments.

Lunch is over and we walked outside, heading to our last block of the day. While outside, I notice my old crush, River, outside once more, with his group of friends. When I got my daily hug from my friend Stephen, I saw something flash in his eye that seemed to be jealousy.
The warning bell sounded telling us to put some pep in our step. We rushed inside and parted to our different classes, mine being Honors Algebra. I walk into class, placing my bag on the seat and walking around the class, chatting it up. Of course, I couldn't forget about annoying Blade.
"Hey Blade, guess what", I said.
"What, woman?" he asked, annoyed.
"Chicken butt."
He rolled his green eyes once more. Boy, did I love that. His beautiful green orbs, staring into mine for the moment being. I felt so bubbly and content. When the late bell finally rang, everyone scurried to their seats as Mr.Myers, my math teacher, walked in.
"Ok everybody. Take out your homework", he said, earning groans from the students who I guess forgot about their education. He went around checking off the students as he checked their work. I frantically looked around the room, realizing I, too, forgot to do my given homework.
I talked to Lenice, who takes this class with me, as we laughed about something that had happened earlier. Mr.Myers made his way over to us, asking Lenice, then me where my homework is.
"See, I had actually left it at home. I mean it is called 'home-work'. I shouldn't take this work from its natural habitat", I respond quickly. He just shakes his head chuckling to himself, clearly giving me a zero. That lie deserved at least a 70 , I thought.
When he had finished checking all the work, he went to the front of the class and reveiwed the concept we had been learning for the past few weeks. He made sure we all understood, answering any questions we had. When everything was said and done, Mr.Myers had spoken the words we didin't expect to hear come from his mouth.
"You guys have a project."
