"I'm gonna choose someone I haven't picked in a while", Ms. Galloway says thoughtfully.
Pick Blade, pick Blade!, I repeated over and over again in my mind.
"Ok. Blade get up here!"
Yes!!!
Blade made his way to the front of the classroom, sitting in the seat next to mine, moving as far away as possible.
"Your such a jerk", I say getting frustrated.
"I'm just kidding", he says, scooting closer to myself. A slight smile appears on my face.
"So class, this scene", she plays sexual music and the class erupts into laughs, "is the honeymoon scene."
Me and Blade's faces turned red as we laughed in embarrassment. As we read our lines aloud, I figured out that Juliet was in bed with Romeo the night after their 'marriage'. She was trying to convince Romeo to stay longer but realized he would be killed if he did and let him leave. That was when Ms. Galloway gave Blade the ok to go back to his seat. After that, I just lost interest in the rest but continued reading my scene.
After all of that, the bell finally rang and we traveled to our 2nd blocks. While walking past Blade, I felt the need to leave on a fun note. "See you later, Romeo."
