The thunder boomed,
And lightening struck.
This was the end,
I guess we ran out of luck.To love was hard,
So was to trust.
All that is left now,
Are ashes and dust. The clouds took over,
The sun shall not shine.
The moon's light is lost,
It shall all be forgotten with time.It began to pour,
Slowly, turned to a flood.
Felt the chills down till my bones,
Felt the rush in my blood.Drawn forward with the wind,
I was led nowhere.
There was nothing left,
It was all cold and bare.Wishing, I was numb,
I looked towards the skies.
Closed my eyes and gently smiled,
Listening now, to the fading cries. As the last tear fell,
I knew what would end the pain.
There was more to come,
Oh, It will rain.
