I'd been house bound for a while now, as I still got tired and sore from walking around too much, but today I'm joining the rest of my group outside, by the tents and the RV. Glenn stayed in the house with me almost every night and looked after me.  Andrea stayed with me some nights as well and most people took turns helping me get up and walk around for a while.

I stepped out of my room to see Maggie who I'd recently become close to.

"Hey you." She said smiling brightly at me. "Sorry about my Dad making you stay outside, he likes to keep his guard up. It's going to be getting cold out there soon, so you can borrow some of my stuff to keep you warm." She offered. "Follow me."

I began following Maggie slowly down the hall towards her bedroom when a photo on the wall caught my attention.

"What the hell." I said louder than I meant to.

"What's wrong?" Maggie questioned giving me a confused look as expected.

"Maggie who is that man?" I whispered, barely able to form words.

"That's my uncle... Anna what's going on?" Maggie desperately asked, tilting her head to the side in confusion.

"That's my father." I breathed out. "And I know because I have this." I opened up the gold locket around my neck revealing a picture of my father.

I told Maggie about my mother having an affair and how I had never met my biological father. We soon told the rest of her family, which was now technically my family also.

Hershel told me everything there was to know about my father, how he loved my mother more than anything and how he had always wanted to get to know me, my mother just didn't let him. She said it would be easier for everyone if he stayed out of our lives.

After learning that I was part of their family Hershel told me I was welcome to stay in the house, however I decided it would be for the best if I joined my group outside, they were my family too.

I stepped out onto the porch and seen everybody gathered round a small fire, some people cooking, some eating, some doing laundry and other little chores.

"Hey guys" I said and gave them a small smile as I walked over.

"Well look who's finally back." T-dog said along with a few other people greeting me and giving me encouraging smiles.

I soon told everyone about my relations to the Greene's and everyone seemed to like this as it meant that Hershel might actually let us stay here for as long as we want.

But if Hershel made me choose between my group and them I would always chose my group. I would always choose Glenn and Andrea.

Somehow a walker had managed to get into one of the wells, which we needed for water. We were all gathered around the well trying to figure out a plan on how the hell we were going to get it out.

"Can't we just put a bullet in its head?" T-dog questioned already fed up.

"We can't risk that. It'll just contaminate the water." I spoke up.

Shane soon enough explained his idea which was to lower someone down into the well, tie a rope around the walker and pull it up.

"Who the hell would be stupid enough to do that?" I questioned as everyone turned to look at Glenn.

"Why's it always me?" He questioned.

"No, absolutely not. You are not doing this." I argued sending glares everyone's way.

"I can do it just make sure the rope is strong okay?"

Everyone soon got to work on lowering him down the well.

"You're okay we've got you." Shane assured him.

"You're all crazy." I heard Maggie mumble from next to me and I couldn't help but nod in agreement with my cousin.

Suddenly the rope gave way and Glenn was lowered straight into the well landing dangerously close to the walker.

"Hey! Get me out! Get me out of here now!" I heard him screaming, which sent chills down my back.

"Oh God, get him out!" I yelled as I ran over to help pull him out.

We eventually got him out and he fell straight into my arms as we sat on the floor together.

"Oh god sometimes I hate you." I whispered as I sat in front of him nuzzling my head into his neck.

"Well guess it's back to the drawing bored." Sighed T-dog.

"Not exactly." Glenn replied gesturing back the walker to show us he had in fact got the rope around it.

I pushed Glenn away and walked off not wanting to stick around for anymore of this. Maybe it was selfish but I couldn't help but be mad at him, how could he sacrifice himself like that knowing what it would do to me if something bad had happened?

Glenn and I were on our way into the small nearby town to get some supplies, Maggie offered us the horses but we decided going on foot was probably safer for us.

we came to a small pharmacy and walked inside.

"So what does the list say?" I asked holding my hand out.

"Umm here." Glenn said as he placed it in my hand.

"What does that one say?" I asked seeing Glenn holding a smaller piece of paper.

"Oh uh nothing, Lori just asked me for a couple of things." He replied giving me a small smile.

I simply nodded and went to look for the other things on the list.

"Hey what you got there?" I asked as I walked back towards Glenn as I had gotten everything on my list.

"Oh what noth- nothing oh uh-" He stuttered as he dropped his bag along with the small box he was holding, he quickly picked it up and I took it out his hand.

"Condoms?" I questioned slightly surprised.

I opened up the box and took one out.

"What um... What are you uh doing?" Glenn questioned.

"What? You don't want to?" I asked starting to close the box back over.

"No of course I want to, are you sure you want to?" He asked seeming confused that I would want to do this with him.

I simply cupped his face and gently kissed his lips. "I love you, I want this." I said before removing my shirt and leaning back in to kiss him.

We were all sat inside the farm house enjoying the dinner that Lori and Carol had made us. It felt so nice, so normal.

I looked up to see Glenn staring at me.

"What?" I whispered smiling at him.

"Look." He said passing me a small note underneath the table "Don't look at it until we're finished." He added.

After dinner I was helping in the kitchen with cleaning up when I remembered the note Glenn had passed me, I took it out my pocket and read over it.

'ever done it in a barn?'

I slightly laughed to myself before heading outside towards to barn.

As I began to approach the barn I saw Glenn coming towards me, he quickly grabbed my arm and pulled me away.

"Glenn, whats going on?" I questioned, seeing the scared look on his face.

"The barn, th-there's walkers in the barn."
