I woke up as we turned down the dirt road to the farm.

"What the hell happened?" I asked Shane, not understanding how I got where I was.

"You don't remember?" He asked.

"No..." And then I the memory of the car tumbling over came back.
"Shit, the car." Was all I said.

"Don't worry about it, as long as you're okay, kinda had me worried there." He said and I scoffed at him as the car stopped.

"I've told you, don't worry about me" I said firmly.

"Can't help it" He mumbled.

As I was about to leave the car, he grabbed my arm and pulled me back.
"What?" I snapped.

"I need to talk to you before you go in that house looking for Glenn." He said and worry quickly flowed throughout me.

"What? Is he okay?" I asked starting to panic.

"I don't know. I mean, they're not back." He said and I felt anger build up inside me.

"What?" I yelled. "You lied to me? I told you! I told you I had to find him!" I spat pushing him away.

"Look there was no other way to get you back here, I needed to get you safe!" He said.

"You are unbelievable. What the hell is wrong with you? What's this weird thing you have with me? I don't understand." I shook my head. "Listen Shane, leave me alone and leave my family alone. I know Lori doesn't want to be with you but I'm not going to be some kind of rebound, so just stay away from me." I said firmly and walked away to Glenn and I's tent.

I woke up to the sound of my tent unzipping and sunlight beaming through the small opening in the tent.  I immediately sprung up, and there stood Glenn, attempting to be quiet and not wake me as he Climbed into the tent.

"Glenn." I whispered and he jumped up clearly not seeing that I was awake.

"God, you scared me." He said.
I narrowed my eyes at him.

"I scared you?" I questioned standing up.
"You scared me! Where the hell have you guys been?" I whisper yelled, not wanting to wake up the others in the tents next to ours.

"We just got caught up." He said quickly and then his eyes landed on the dry blood on my head from last night.

"What happened?" He asked placing a hand on my cheek.

"I crashed a car, Looking for you" I said biting my lip nervously at how he would react.

"You came looking for me? Do you know how unbelievably stupid that is?" He snapped, clearly confused by my stupidity.

"Tell me you wouldn't have done the same thing?" I asked cocking my head to one side.

"That's different." He mumble.

"Why? Because I'm not as strong as everyone else? I'm too weak to survive? And I need to be rescued?" I countered, rage building up inside me.

"I didn't mean it like that." He said putting a hand on his forehead.

"Nope I hear you, loud and clear." I said walking out the tent towards the house, as I was walking out I spotted Dale on top of the RV and decided to go talk to him. I really looked up to Dale and he'd been so good to me and Andrea, he was really starting to become a father figure to us, or maybe grandfather is a better fit.

I climbed to the top of the RV and sat next to him.

"Hey old man." I said nudging him.

"Anna, how you holding up? Heard you had a rough night." He said giving me the famous 'Dale' look.

"I'm okay, would have been better if it wasn't Shane who came and got me." I mumbled.

"I'm sorry, he insisted." He said patting my shoulder.

"That's okay, how are you though?" I asked.

"Well considering we're living in a world full of flesh eating monsters and we've got some kid tied up in that small barn right there, I'd say I'm coping just fine." He replied and the only thing to catch my attention in that whole sentence was the thing about 'the kid in the small barn.'

"What kid?" I immediately asked, looking towards the barn.

"They brought him back last night, say he's dangerous. He's just a kid though." He told me, sounding upset for guy.

"I'm gonna go talk to Shane about this." I said.

"I'll see you at dinner." He smiled at me.

I walked over to Shane who was on the porch.

"Hey." I mumbled.

"Hey." He simply said back, barely looking at me.

"I'm sorry for snapping at you last night, I was just worried." I apologised and he nodded.

"So what are you gonna do about this kid." I asked, gesturing to the barn.

"Me and Rick are heading out later today, gonna take him far away." He said.

"You're not going to kill him though?" I hoped, not wanting anything bad to happen to they guy.

"No, Rick won't allow it." He mocked, rolling his eyes.

"What? you think that's a good idea? To just take some innocent kids life?" I asked in shock that he could actually believe that was a good idea.

"It's what's safest everyone, including you." He said looking me in the eyes.

"Don't do that!" I whisper yelled.

"What?" He asked sounding generally confused.

"Don't act like you care about me." I snapped sending him a glare before walking away.

(Time skip: One and a half days)

Glenn had been avoiding me for the whole of yesterday and most of today so I decided it was time to go and confront him about it. I saw him walking across the field and ran over to him.

"Hey, walker-bait" I called and he spun around to face me.

"Please stop calling me that." He whined.

"You've been avoiding me, Why?" I asked, narrowing my eyes.

He shifted, uncomfortably before mumbling. "I've not."

"Well you've not said a word to me in nearly two days." I snapped. "Did I do something wrong?" I asked in confusion, I thought we were in a good place.

"Well yeah, no I mean you didn't mean any harm by it-" He kept rambling on and so I blocked him out.

"What are you talking about?" I questioned, crossing my arms in annoyance.

"When we were on that run and we got attacked, I got shot at and the first thing I did was hide. Because of you. And the first thing that popped into my head was that I don't want you to be upset over me because I died so I did everything I had to, even if that put others at risk, because all I knew was that I needed to make it back here for you." He said running his hand through his thick black hair.

I narrowed my eyes, not understanding what he was getting at. "And that's bad?" I questioned looking for confirmation.

"Yes! It puts everybody else at risk because you are my main priority." He said and a tear fell down my cheek. "Why are you crying?" He asked.

"You don't want to be with me?" I asked more tears spilling out, which I immediately wiped away "God I'm so stupid" I mumbled walking away he immediately turned me around and brought me into the most passion filled kiss I'd ever had, his hands were placed gently on my cheeks as he rubbed circles on them with his thumbs. He pulled away and placed his forehead on mine.

"Believe me, I want to be with you. This is just still so new for me, I'm not good at dealing with it. Just know that I do love you" He confirmed bringing his lips to meet mine again.
