Chapter 40

Cali's POV

"Matt" he said and I was confused "what do you mean Matt? He cheated on me" I said but he just shook his head

"You aren't looking at the whole picture, do you remember all the good times you two had? All you remember is the fights and arguments" he said and I was still confused

"But I thought you didn't like Matt because of everything he has done" I said and he nodded "well he's different now, he doesn't seem to be that person anymore" he said

"But it doesn't matter, he's having a kid" I said rolling my eyes "um actually bailey already took full custody of the kid so" he said "can she even do that? I mean the kid isn't even born yet" I said while he shrugged his shoulders

"Well i don't know but anyways I think you should get back with Matt" "I don't know Hayes" I said "just think about it" he said

Matt was a great guy but is he still? But Dylan is great and I love him. Plus Matt doesn't like me anymore anyways.

"Well I'm going back to bed. Awake me back up if you need anything. " he said and left the kitchen. I cleaned up the trash and through it away and went back up to my room.

I went on twitter and saw that Hayes was retweeting this girl named Kendall tweets. He posted a picture of her and put a smirk emoji and a wink. Maybe he likes her? He needs to have a girlfriend in his life

I put my phone down and fell alseep

*the next morning*

I got up the next morning and it was 7:43 a.m. I went down stairs and Hayes was sitting on the couch texting someone. "Who are you texting?" I asked "this girl named Kendall" he said and I started to smirk

"Yeah I saw that last night" I said and he laughed "yeah we've been talking all night" he said "so where does she live?" I asked "Georgia" he said and my eyes widened "Hayes that far away and there is a three hour time difference" I said while he shrugged

"Hayes is 4 in the morning there! She's probably tired" I said "oh yeah maybe I should tell her to get some sleep" he said and started texting her fast

"So is she you know...." I said not really knowing how to say it without sounding snotty "no she is not famous. She's a normal girl that goes to school everyday and has a normal life" he said and I nodded

"I don't know her but I'm just telling you to be careful, because she isn't you know like us and she probably doesn't get it and could easily use you or any of us for followers" I said honestly the nicest way possible

"I know, you have seemed to forgotten that I have been dealing with this kind of stuff since I was 12 too" he said while laughing a little "I'm just trying to help" I said and walked into the kitchen

I want Hayes to try and be in a relationship but when a couple is in a relationship and one of them is famous and one of them isn't it never really works out.

"I know your looking out for me but when she comes over here don't scare here off" he said and I just turned and looked at him "scare her off?! Why would I do that?!" I asked starting to get mad

"That's just what seems to happen every time I meet a new girl and I introduce her to you" he said very calmly, which was surprising considering he knows I'm about to flip out.

"Wow" I said and turned around and started to walk away "what?" He asked grabbing my arm trying to stop me "no, don't even try, I'm just looking out for you. You bring that girl here and if your little "relationship" does go longer than a month then you can say I told you so, but if it doesn't last long then I will be telling you I told you so!" I said and turned around and walked away

When that chick comes I am probably going to give her the cold shoulder. Hayes drives me crazy sometimes
