"Rose why weren't you surprised when I walked into the room two weeks ago?" I looked up at Dimitri and smiled slightly.
"Honestly, I wasn't suprised. I figured something stupid would happen. Which by the way you owe me $500 for the last time you were over there. You never paid me." He put his arm around me and moved my hair away from my healing neck. I hadn't had anybody in a few weeks and I was happy. I needed to get away from everyone for awhile.
"I forgot all about that, just kidding. I could never forget my time with you. So you haven't asked me about Lissa."
"Dimitri I just want to bring her back to Christian and then you and your friends can do whatever you want to me. I really don't care, you know I don't care." I saw pain flash by his eyes.
"Rose I realize you don't care I just wish you would. There is so much missing about you. I miss the girl I fell for." I refused to look at him.
"The girl you fell for died a long time ago. This is Rose Hathaway. And I am staying this way for a while."
"But you aren't going to stay this way for a while. We want you to be one of us."
