Rose POV
"Hey Rose I wanted to ask you something," I turned to Alexander and he smiled.
"Shoot." He smiled and handed me a single red rose.
"This Monday will you do me the honor of coming to dinner with me?" I looked at him shocked. Did he really mean this? Monday? Monday was the three anniversary of Dimitri's death. Was I ready?
"Um, Alexander... I don't know if that is such a good idea." He looked at me almost sadly. "Okay fine dinner but that's all." He smiled and kissed my cheek.
"Thank you Rose." I sighed and walked into the room I was sharing with Lissa.
"ROSE! I heard everything! I'm so happy for you!" She hugged me tight nearly knocking me over.
"Thanks Lissa but it's late lets get some sleep. You have a big day ahead of yourself." She smiled and walked to her bed. When she drifted away to sleep, I got off of my bed and took the seat by the window. I was on duty now.

Alexander's POV
"So guess where this guy is going on Monday night." I said as I walked into the hotel room Christian and I were being forced to share.
"Um where ever I'm going?" I laughed and shook my head.
"This lucky S.O.B. is going to a dinner with Rose Hathaway." I swear I saw his eyes bug out.
"How in the world did you get Rose to say yes? She has never said yes to any guy." I shrugged and laid on the bed.
"I just gave her a single rose and that was it. Asked her to go with me and she said yes." He sat down as well, yawning.
"Well just remember what I told you. If you break her heart Lissa will kill you." I laughed and he slowly drifted away to a deep sleep. I walked to the window and sighed. This was my job.
Sorry it's so short everyone!!!! I just wanted y'all to all see that Alexander and Rose are kind of alike and maybe Rose is opening up to him or maybe she's going insane. But seriously guys comment.
