Chapter Five

Finally I arrived at Zariah's, with this big suit case you would think I was staying forever.
"Took you long enough girl, wanna watch a movie after you put your things up" she asked
"Sure why not" I replied

We watched I am legend
"I really love this movie" i said as it went off
"I do too it's one of me and my moms favorites" she said with a sad tone.
"What's the matter ?"I asked
"Nothing it's just I barely get to see my mom & when I do we never get along" she said
As I thought about her issue I thought about telling her mines .
"Well Zariah you know , I can kinda understand where you're coming from" I started telling her about how I didn't know who my real mom and I ended up telling her the real reason why I needed to stay with her. As I watch her tear up from my life story she slowly reached in to kiss me.
I was more shocked than ever , did this really happen? Is this why she turns down every guy ? Am I lesbian ? all these questions ran through my head . I've never done this before . The room was silent , until she finally said.
"I'm sorry Jay , I just wanted to show you the affection you needed" she said lowly
"It's okay Zariah , but um please don't do it again" I snickered
She laughed and responded ..
"Okay okay , well now that it's obvious , I'm not interested in boys"
"I was wondering what was up with you turning down Damion that day in front of everyone when he asked you out in front of everyone " I said , little did she know I dated that loser.
"Well that was a big joke he knows I don't like guys , and he wanted everyone to know , he sort of wanted everyone to know I was gay because the night before that happened at a party he tried to hook up and I turned him down for a female, he just wanted to get me back" she confessed
"Wow that's dirty"I said
"But I've never liked Damion he's always been a down dirty punkass nigga that can't treat a female right" she growled
When she said that I got quiet , I thought he really loved me , I thought we were gonna have a future together.
"So , where do I sleep ?"
As she showed me too my room I was wondering if my parents was going to track my phone , to find out where I was , I thought I needed my own phone , that was the first thing I was going to buy when I get this money tomorrow night .
As I walked in the room I sat on the bed and deleted everything out of the phone and cut it off and through it out the window as Far as I could .
I'm really done with my old life.
I was so ready to start my job , so I could be on my own .
I laid down and anxiously waited for tomorrow . I decided to go to sleep it's been a long day .
