We've been hiding out here for a week now and we've been on our tippy toes all the time.
We was walking down the street, really early in the morning. Jess decided to go across town.
"I'm really tired" I dragged my feet.
"We have to keep going till were far enough, you can do it" Jess says.
"Please can we go to sleep" I ask.
"Lay, just keep walking come on" she says.
"I can't" I pout about to cry.
She sighs "Please don't cry" she says. She stops and picks me up.
I lay my head on her shoulder.
She keeps walking carrying me so I can sleep.
•Jess P.O.V.•
I'm scared to go back, Lisa with kill me for knocking her out and leaving.
Sir will get me worse.
I was so tired of walking but I had to keep going.
Lay is very light and small so it wasn't a problem carrying her.
I'm so glad she back with me, I'm glad she took care of herself while I was trying to get back to her.
I heard her light snoring. I will always take care of my little sister no matter how much trouble I get into. She MY baby sister, MY responsibility ever since mom and dad died, and the ONLY person I care about.
I start getting so tired that my eyes were closing as I was walking.
I shot my eyes open.
I find a alley and I sit on some box like things.
I lean on the wall and hold Lay close.
I put my hoodie over my head for more of a cushion and on Lay head.
It's also pretty chilly.
I soon fall asleep.
•After A While•
We get to a far away point and we finally sit down and relax.
"How you feeling" I ask her.
"I'm okay" Layla says softly.
"I know your hungry" I say pulling out a fruit I stole for the stand. When the man wasn't looking.
I will do anything for her, grabs it "Thank you" she smiles a little and bites into it.
"No problem" I say holding her close as she ate.
"You want some" she asks.
"No thank you, I had some when you was sleeping" I say and she nods and continues to eat.
"Do you think they will find us" she asks.
"Yes but maybe not today or tomorrow" I say.
"How would you know" she asks.
"I just know" I mumbled.
"Can we go for a walk later" she asks.
"Tonight, so we won't be seen if the happen to drive by" I say.
•Layla P.O.V.•
We walked down the street talking when a car pulled up to us.
"Run" Jess says and we turned around and started running.
All the sudden Jess was tackled down.
I wish it wasn't like late at night and people wasn't a sleep.
