I watched Jordan pace back and forth, crying.
I looked at the floor blankly and cried. "Papa is Maria going to be okay" Kyle asks.
"I hope so" she says and started crying harder. I stood up and hugged her and she cried in my arms.
I see Cory, Tara and the twins rush in. I let go of Jordan and Cory gives her a huge hug.
Cory was crying too. "What happened" Tara asks.
"We was talking about groceries and like Maria stood up and fell and she had a heart attack" I say as more tears fell.
Tara sits down and puts her hands in her face.
Jess and Danny came in soon after. "Have they told you guys anything" Jess asks hugging us.
"No, their taking fucking forever" Jordan yelled.
"M'am I'ma have to ask you to quite down please" the nurse at the desk says.
I grabbed Jordan hand "Baby, let the doctors do what they have to do" I say softly.
•In the Middle of the Night•
I stayed with Jordan at the hospital, everyone went home to take the kids to sleep but not Jess.
"Are you the family or friends of Maria Polo" a doctor came up to us.
"Yes, we are" Jordan quickly jumps up with me.
"We tried everything we can do. Im sorry to say, she only has 24 hours to live" he frowns.
"No" Jordan says and broke down.
"I'm sorry m'am, you may go see her in room 456" he says and walks off.
I held Jordan as we walk down the hall way.
Soon we get to the room and we went over to her side. "Maria" I say softly.
She slowly opened her eyes and smiles a little "My lovelies" she says softly.
"Maria please don't leave me" Jordan cried.
"Oh baby come here" she says weakly. Jordan laid in the bed with her "No matter what happens to me, where will I always be" she asks.
"In my heart and watching over us" she says.
"Remember that, okay" she says and Jordan nods. "You will always be my baby" she says softly.
"Can I stay right here" Jordan asks snuggling in her arms.
"Yes, I would love that" she smiles and looks at me and Jess. "You two, I know you two have a very good sister relationship but DO NOT EVER let anything come between that again" she says talking about the time when I was lied on for getting used by Miss Jay. "Keep it strong and built. Me and my sister had a very weak bond. I wish we had a bond like you two. The last words I ever told her was I hate you. I deeply regret that because the next day she was killed in a accident. When I get up there, I will see her and have a great bond with her" she says.
"Our bond will never break" Jess held my hand.
"You are the best you know that right Maria" I smile at her.
"I try my hardest" she says.
"What age did you start taking care of Jordan" I ask.
"I was 16 in high school. Her mother was going to give her up for adoption and I didn't think she deserved that. I got into a huge augment with her and she told me to take her and I was more then glad too. My mom yelled at me for bringing home a baby and kicked me out. But it was all worth it because she all grown up and ready to kick ass" we laugh a little. "I raised her to be the adult see us today. Not to be gay but I didn't have any problem with it. Along side of my husband" she says. "Which that death was hard for the both of us" she says.
