We all sat outside in the backyard.
We have guards around the house now because of what happened with Jordan.
Jordan is in the dungeon.
I sighed and looked around. "Mommy" Mandy mumbled.
"Yes" I say softly.
"Can we go for a walk" she asks.
"We can't go pass the trees" I stood up with her and she nods.
I look at the guard and he watches us hard. Me and Mandy walked in silence "Is papa going to be okay" she asks.
I look at the grass "To be honest, she will probably come out with a couple scars and hurting really bad" I said.
"I want papa" she mumbled.
"Me too but I don't know when she's coming out" I say.
Mandy started coughing "What if she doesn't come out? Ends up like aunt Alice" she asks.
"Don't think like that" I say softly. "She will be out" I say.
She nods "Why do we have to be here" she asks as we finish our first lap.
"I don't know, it's all my fault though. One minute were sleeping the next minute you guys come in" I say.
"They said they have to wreaking uncle Cory and Danny to a point where they won't try to fight back" she says.
"I know, their one of the reasons why we have guards" I say. "Make sure you call them by sir, please. I don't want you getting in trouble, alright" I say.
She coughs some more "Alright" she says.
It's freezing outside because where we live its barely warm. Sometimes it's like a hot day but half the time is freezing and it's winter. We have no jacket or anything.
Usually when it rains its on a warm day.
I felt her forehead and it was hot "How you feeling" I stopped and looked at her.
"I feel sick" she says softly.
I look at the guard and he was looking down at his phone.
I pulled the bottle of medicine, I stole from them. Out of my apron. I poured some in the small cup.
She took it and I quickly put it away. "You need to get inside" I say.
On cue they called up in. "Whats wrong with Mandy" Jess asks rocking Kaylee back and forth.
"She's sick" I say. "I have her the medicine" I say.
"Don't carry it around, let me hold it so if I get caught I get in trouble" she says.
"No, I wouldn't want you to do that" I say.
"It's fine" she says, I sighed and gave it to her. "Mandy you need some sleep" she says and Mandy nods.
Cory and Tara was talking behind us "Feel better, okay" Tara says.
"Thank you aunt Tara" she smiles slightly.
"Chores are up, get to them" Miss Faith yelled while grabbing her keys.
"Miss Faith" Tara says.
"What" she says.
"Mandy is sick, she can't do her chores" she says.
"If her chores are not done by dinner, she will be punished" she says.
"I will do it m'am" I say.
"I will help" Danny says softly.
"I don't care, get it done" she says.
