Chapter Eleven: Arguments

Sapphire's POV:

Aquamarine had a worried look on her face and Ruby was pulled me into a hug. Everything, every point of view, every person, was in my dream. Ruby...the look of devistation she had on her face when I joined Yellowdiamond, the way I made her and Aquamarine both retreat in their gems. The worst part was I didn't hold back. My eyes went wide when I realised something. "Did I hurt you?!" I yelled and they both shook their heads. "Can I have some time alone?" I asked Ruby. "Yes." She said in a gentle voice and Aquamarine nodded her head. "Thank you." I said and Ruby smiled at me and left the room with Aquamarine. I layed back down and started to relax. That all stopped when I saw someone in the corner sharpening a knife. "Funny seeing you here." She said and flashed me a wicked smile. "How did you~" I was cut off by the knife being thrown right next to my head.

Amethyst's POV:

I just ran away from Steven and the rest of the gems. I couldn't stand Pearl judging me anymore. I understand that we are sisters and that we argue, but we all just lost a friend and a part of our family. It seems she didn't care, she never really liked Greg the way I did. He was my best friend.

I kept on running. Steven yelled at me, for me to come back. I shook my head and kept running. Tears were blurring my vision, and I could barely see. I rushed in our house and in the garage. There I found the warp pad. I warped to the one place I knew I was safe. Instead of the Kindergarten I warped to the Sky Spire. The place where Pearl and I fused for the first time.

Steven's POV:

I looked over at Pearl and she managed to get up and off the ground. She stumbled a bit, and I caught her. "Pearl?" I asked. "S-Steven." She stuttered and with a poof retreated to her gem. Emrald and I looked at each other. The funeral was now over and Greg was soon to be buried. I picked up Pearl's gem and put it gently in my pocket. "Is she going to be alright?" Emerald questioned with a worried look on her face. I nodded my head, fighting off tears. "Do you wwmt to go home?" She asked me and, once again, I nodded my head.

She was holding my hand as we were walking along the boardwalk, which made me feel better, that is, until and old friend of mine showed up and stared at Emerald and I. It was Connie and it looked like she was about to cry, so I ran up to her. "Connie, are you okay?" I asked and she shook her head. "I'm sorry Steven." She said and she started to cry. "I shouldn't have broken up with you. It was wrong of me to and I just wanted to~" She was cut off my finger to her lips. "It's okay, I know you were just trying to give me space. I appreciate that." I smiled and kissed her deeply. She smiled into the kiss and she pulled away. "Someone missed me." She said with a smile. I nodded my head and that made her giggle. I laughed with her. "How about we go to the beach?" I asked. "Emerald are you~" I was about to question, but when I looked in her direction, she was gone.

Emerald's POV:

I ran away from Steven and what I assumed to be his ex-girlfriend. I liked Steven and I thought he liked me too. I was wrong. I should have done the mission I was assigned to do, and that was to kill the Crystal Gems. I couldn't do it, even if I tried I would feel remorse if I killed any of them. I ran back to the temple to try and clear my head.

When I got back to the temple I saw the mailman and he waved. Naturally I waved, and kept on running. I ran inside the temple and saw Ruby and a new gem. "Where's Sapphire?" I questioned quickly. Ruby looked at me funny and pointed to her door. I used one of my abilities, which was to open any door I wanted to. This was thanks to Yellowdiamond. I opened Sapphire's door and I saw one of my old friends. It was Jasper. I stood there in the doorway and saw a knife right next to Jasper's head. "Mom." I said. I should have never used that title. She never deserved it, no matter what any piece of paper says, she is not my mother. Jasper dropped the knife she was holding and came over to me. She narrowed her eyes. "I thought I got rid of you...RUNT!" I hated that nickname. She knew I did. I shook my head. "What's the matter? You going to cry?" I eyes widened in anger and I stared at her and summoned my weapon, with a flash my sword was at her throat. "How are you alive?" I question and Jasper began to laugh. "Yellowdiamond." She said and that is all I needed to know. I still didn't lower my weapon. "Go ahead, do it. I want you to." Jasper said and I looked over at Sapphire, who shook her head. I lowered my weapon. "You never were my daughter." She said. "Go to Hell." I said. "I already have. It is a place that I do not want to go back to." I looked down at Jasper's hand, which held a knife. I shook my head and she smiled and threw the knife beside my head. Even when I was little she would use me for target practice. If I got hit she would shrug it off and leave the room. I would lay there with blood pouring out of my shoulder and on to the floor. I would scream, but no one would hear me. I was silent because no one cared for me, but now I found a family. Someone who actually cares for me, and let's me be me.

I couldn't take it anymore. I took the knife out of the wall and threw it so it would stab Jasper. It stabbed her in the shoulder and she smiled and grabbed the handle. She pulled the knife out of her shoulder. "I knew you would do that one of these days." She said and Sapphire came between us. "Stop!" She yelled, but Jasper grabbed her by her arm and threw her against a wall. Sapphire landed with a crash. "Until next time." Jasper said and dissapeared in thin air.
