Ruby's POV:

Steven and Emerald were cracking up laughing. Steven showed Sapphire and I the picture he took and a giggle came out of Sapphire. I started to laugh as well. I looked at the picture and we both looked shocked. "This is hilarious!" Steven said while pointing at the picture. After the laughter died down Steven began to speak. "If you two wanted some time to yourselves you could have asked." Sapphire and I looked at each other and blushed. That made Steven and Emerald laugh more. I got up and walked over to where my purse was and grabbed a twenty dollar bill and gave it to Steven. "Here, go have some fun." I said and he smiled at me. "Thanks Ruby. You two stay out of trouble." Steven said and walked out of the door with Emerald close behind him.

Sapphire's POV:

"Alone at last." I said while I layed there on the couch. Ruby had a smile on her face and walked towards me. "What?" I asked. She was in front of me and began to tickle me. I started to laugh. "Hehe, Ruby! Hehe stop!" I said through my giggles. "Why should I?" She mocked me. "Because I may do this!" I yelled and started to tickle her. She started to laugh and she fell on top of me. I bluahed and looked away, that is, until Ruby grabbed my face with both of her hands and brought my face close to hers. "I love you." She said and I felt her breath on my lips. Her breath was always minty. She brought our lips together. We layed there on top of each other, kissing, and didn't stop.

Steven's POV:

Emerald and I were walking along the board walk. "What do you want to do?" She asked. I had to think about it for a moment. "Let's go to the arcade. I love the claw machines there." She looked at me with a confused look on her face. "Claw machines?" She questioned and I grunted. "Come on." I said.

We were walking down to go to the arcade and we stopped to say hi to my friend Peedee. "We will be back later." I said. "Oh yeah, this is my friend Emerald." Peedee stuck out his hand and smiled and Emerald shook it. "See you later." I said and smiled. He waved at us. "There's a firework show tonight! Don't forget!" He yelled as we were walking away. "I won't!" I smiled and turned to face Emerald. "Do you know what those are?" I said and Emerald shook her head. I was talking about the fireworks. "Do you know anything about this planet?" I asked and she shook her head. "Fireworks are explosions that happen in the sky, they are for decoration and do not hurt you, if you are far away." I said and Emerald looked at me wide eyed. "That sounds awesome!" She yelled. "Yeah, it's pretty cool." I said and smiled at her. She looked away from me and blushed. I could tell she was shy. I smiled at that and I noticed we reached the arcade. "Come on." She walked inside with me and her eyes lit up. I went over to Mr. Smiley and traded the money for ten dollars in change.

I walked over to the claw machines and put fifty cents in the coin slot. "Here, you try." I said to Emerald and moved away from the machine. She smiled at me and learned how to use it quickly. "Ooo, look at that!" She was pointing to a teddy bear inside the machine. She aimed the claw so it was in line with the teddy bear and pressed the drop button. It didn't pick up the teddy bear. I knew she wanted it. "Here." I handed her a handful of quarters. "Go play a game." She smiled at me. "Thanks Steven!" She said and walked off into the arcade in search of a game. I had some quaters in my pocket and I was going to win the teddy bear. I deposited my quarters in the machine and began to play. I aimed the claw and dropped it and I won on my first try. "Yes." I said to myself. I grabbed the prize out of the bottom of the machine and brought it over to Mr, Smiley. "Do you have a box?" He nodded his head and handed me a green shiny box. "Thanks." I said and began to walk off, until I heard Mr. Smiley's voice. "She'll love it." He said and I smiled at him and he smirked back at me. I put the teddy bear in the box. It was weird that the box happened to be green. I just ignored it and looked over to where Emerald was at.

Emerald's POV:

I was thinking of what game I should play next. I walked uo to the counter and saw that there were prizes to be won. I saw a metal slinky and thought Steven would like it. "How much for the slinky?" I asked the man at the counter. "50 tickets. The game that gives out the most tickets is skee ball." He pointed over to a machine. "Thank you." I said and walked off.

I was over at the skee ball machine and put my money in. I looked at the rules and they seemed easy enough. Eventually, I went through all my quarters and only had forty tickets. "Darn it." I said. I walked up to the man behind the counter. "I only have forty." I said. "Here." He handed me the slinky. "Really?" I said and he nodded his head. "Thank you!" I looked down at the slinky and back up at him. He handed me a box to put the slinky in. "He has been eyeing that for a while, you know." I blushed and looked away. "Thank you." I seaidin a shy voice. "Your welcome." He said and smirked at me and I waved at him and walked off to find Steven.

Steven's POV:

I was looking for Emerald and I couldn't find her. "Emerald." I began to call her name. "Hey." I jumped at the voice behind me and turned around. "Startle much?" It was Emerald. "A bit." I said and smiled at her. We both started to laugh. "What's in the box?" She questioned. "What's in yours?" I questioned and pointed at the red box she had in her hands. "You'll have to wait." She said and hid the box behind her back. "Then you'll have to wait too." I said and she pouted. "Don't give me that face." I said. She smiled at me. "Come on let's go get dinner and go to the firework show." I said and we both were out of the arcade walking side by side. We were good friends.
