Okay so I've never ever been this nervous for anything.

"Come on Karlie, don't be such a coward." I whisper to myself as I open my locker and grab my jacket. I put if over the grey sweater I'm wearing and grab my english book to take it with me to Taylor's later.

"You coming to my place tonight to watch Americas next top model"? I hear a familiar voice ask. I close my locker and see that Cara is standing beside me.

"Uhm.. I kinda have plans already with.. uhm.. Taylor." I say, blushing slightly, hoping that my best friend wont see it.

"Awww, you're even blushing." She says, pinching my cheeks playfully.

"See ya tomorrow then. Have fun." She says, wiggling her eyebrows and then turning around to walk out of the building. I smile and swing my backpack over my shoulder. I feel the bag hitting something or someone and look around to apologize.

"Im sor.." I start, but I see two familiar blue eyes smile at me.

"Hello to you too." Taylor says, smiling shyly at me. "You're always bumping stuff into me, or well.. yourself." She jokes awkwardly. I laugh and say: "Yeah sorry for that." I receive a smile before she asks if we shall go to her place now. Shes already been to her locker I see, since she is wearing a dark-red, long coat. She looks so pretty.

We walk out of the school building and I immediately recognize her mom sitting in a big grey station car. She is smiling and waving enthusiastically at us and I hear taylor let out a deep sigh. I laugh softly while were approaching the car.

"Mom, were 18. You don't have to wave at us like some kind of.." Taylor starts, but shes interupted by her mother saying: "Karlie dear, nice to meet you." She smiles at me while Taylor and I sit down in the backseats. "Nice to meet you too, miss Swift." I reply, smiling back at her.

"Oh please, call me Andrea." She says, starting the car and driving away. I can see that Taylor is embarrassed by her mom, her cheeks are red once again. Its about a 15 minute drive to Taylor's house which is way bigger then I expected. We talked a bit on the ride there, about small things. Her mom is a big talker, ive noticed. We pull into the garage and exit the car.

"Do you have a drivers license, Taylor?" I ask as we walk out of the garage and into the front yard.

"Yeah I do. No car yet though. Sometimes I use moms, but only when she doesn't have to go to work." She replies, swinging her big bag over her shoulder, a piece of paper flying out. "You?" She asks.

"Yeah, no car yet either though. But I borrow Cara's sometimes." I reply. "You lost something." I say , leaning down to the floor to gather the piece of paper before the wind blows it away.

"Oh, thanks." Taylor says, snatching the piece out of my hand and stuffing it into her pocket.

We enter Taylor's house and its decorated in kind of an old school style with wooden furniture and antique looking objects and such. "Nice house." I comment.

"Thank you." Taylor and her mom reply at the same time, making Taylor look at her mom in anger again. I smile and hang my jacket up on the coat reck in the hallway. Taylor does the same and we walk into the kitchen. "Mom, were gonna make homework. Please don't disturb us." She says to her mother. Andrea just smiles and says: "Okay ill be in the office if you need me." She heads out of the kitchen and I see Taylor relax.

"You're mom seems sweet." I say. Sitting down at the kitchen table and looking up at the blonde.

"She literally acts like I'm twelve." Taylor says, her voice frustrated.
