Once we reach the kitchen everything is very silent. Everyone is just sitting there looking down at there food.
Exept Eric.
Of course.
Eric is sitting there looking at the ring he has the balls too ask me to marry him with.
"Uhmm!" I try too make a coughing noise but it comes out more like the sound a impatient waiter would make.
Eric quickly stands up and looks straight at me with tears in his eyes.
"Rosabella. I am terribly sorry. I think I should leave now." Eric sais.
"Yah. You should have left a while ago. You know what? Maybe just never came in the first place." Daniel sais and I can hear it in his voice he is getting angry. I back away a little.
I'm not scared of Daniel.
I can't be.
"I'm sorry once again Eric. For everything." My dad adds giving a mad glare and Daniel.
"It's fine. Thank you for supper Ms. Wallis. I hope too see you soon." Eric chimes in.
I can't let him get away with this.
I have to say something.
I have too scream.
Yell.
Anything at all!
Eric walks too the door but my mom stops him.
"You are welcome anytime." She sais while putting her hand on his shoulder.
Even if I did tell my parents the truth they wouldn't believe me.
They love Eric too much.
They think he's perfect.
But what if they found out he isn't?...
Eric opens the door and soon closes it and is finally out of my house. I can't help but let out a sigh of relief.
"What the fuck was that Rosa?!" My dad glares at me.
Only my parents call me that. Rosa.
"I don't love him Dad. I'm with Daniel now. Remember?" I say grabbing Daniel's hand for comfort.
"I don't think Daniel needs too be here right now." My mother adds.
"And I don't think Eric should have been here at all." I say out of anger.
"Well maybe WE prefer Eric to be here." My dad sais and I can't believe that came out of his mouth.
"Fuck you." I say as loudly as I can starring into my dads dark intimidating eyes.
I feel Daniel grip my hand harder and I start looking for an escape root. Just as I turn around my dad grabs my other hand and spins me back around.
"JASPER ALLAN DEFRANSES!" My mother yells.
My dad lets go of me and turns too my mother.
"What?! You think this is proper behavior for a young woman?!" My dad asks her.
"Well I do not think that her father is showing a very good example." My mom answers.
And I swear at that moment I think my dad finally came to a realization. His eyes flicked and he just started blankly at the floor.
"Jasper. Rosa. I think we should just call it a night." My mother adds.
"Daniel is staying the night." I add and start walking away hoping my parents won't say anything.
"We did not say yes." My mom said staring at me blankly.
"Well I didn't say yes for Eric too be here. So goodnight." I say and at that me and Daniel walk downstairs and into my room.
Once me and Daniel reach my room he pulls me in for a kiss.
"I'm sorry." He whispers
"For?"
"I don't know.. I love you."
"Love you too. Thank you so much."
"For?"
"Being there for me!"
"Oh. No problem, anytime!" He exclaims.
I love Daniel.
I really really do.
I lean in and kiss him once more.
