Perfectly imperfect. (The perfect one)

The crowd of student parted for you, like the sea for Moses. You didn't even spare a glance at them, just walking confidently past them. Your path was clear all the way to the classroom where you sat down. As soon as you were seated, you were immediately surrounded by your peers.

"(L/N)-chan good morning!" "How was your weekend (L/N)-chan?" "(L/N)-chan, can you help me with english again?"

And it went on. It was always like this. Every day, every week, every year. Ever since pre school. Until they all went silent, which was unusual.

"You're annoying, it makes me want to crush you." A bored voice said from above. The group surrounding you backed away, bidding you farewell before scurrying off to their own seats. Murasakibara, who was the one to scare them off, dumped a bag of sweets on your table, before taking a nearby chair for himself. You sighed, mentally questioning yourself, yet again, why the purple haired giant was harassing you of all people.

"Goodmorning Murasakibara-kun." You said flatly.

"Mornin' (Nickname)-chin." He mumbled, attention on his current snack. You gritted your teeth, if there was one thing you disliked more than being harassed by him, it was being ignored by him.

Sensing your irritation, Murasakibara looked up. "(Nickname)-chin? You want one?" Although he did not guess your reason, offering you a piece of pocky from the pack he was devouring. You sighed yet again, but took one of the chocolate covered sticks.

"Thank you Murasakibara-kun." You said politely, as always. He just shrugged, uttering a "Welcome."

After class, you were fast to pack and scurry out. Although, not so fast that you looked hurried, you were never hurried for you were always on time. Of course, no matter how fast you walked, Murasakibara could easily catch up to you with his long legs.

"(Nickname)-chin, you're walking fast." He complained in his lazy drawl.

You clicked your tongue. "What are you talking about Murasakibara-kun, I am walking in a perfectly normal tempo." You brushed him off.

Murasakibara frowned. He didn't like how you always used the word 'perfect' about everything. You were always so tense, fussing about how everything about and around you should be perfect. He wanted to stop it. So he stopped you in the hallway.

"What is it Murasakibara-kun, we're going to be late for history." You said, noting how the hallway was near empty.

Murasakibara pouted at you. "(Nickname)-chin should stop." He said.

You frowned lightly. "Stop what exactly, Murasakibara-kun?" you asked.

He stared you down with a serious look, different than his usual look of boredom. "Trying to be perfect. (Nickname)-chin is perfect the way she is already."

You blushed and stuttered a bit before quickly regaining your composure. "M-Murasakibara-kun, anything less than absolutely perfect is unacceptable, I cannot simply-"

He cut you off by slinging his arms around your smaller frame, nuzzling your hair with his cheek. "I don't like when (Nickname)-chin's trying so hard."

You sighed and hesitantly wrapped your own arms around the boy, placing your head on his chest. "Alright, I shall try to relax more. But only when we're alone, I cannot in public!" You agreed, enjoying the warmth he radiated.

"This means (Nickname)-chin belongs to me right." He suddenly asked. The blush was back, staining your face in a pretty pink colour. "R-right, and you belong to me Atsushi-kun." You said, tasting the way his name sounded from your lips.

Murasakibara hummed. "Good. And if anyone tries to take (Nickname)-chin away, I'll crush them."

You chuckled. "I don't doubt for a second you would."
