I woke up with Kevin fast asleep next to me. I smiled at him, my mate, my Alfa, my husband.

"we're married" I whispered then left a soft kiss on his cheek

I saw as he smiled then moved closer to my side of the bed.

I laid back and looked around not being able to fall back asleep. I lifted my hand to see the ring that now has more diamonds glowing.

I smiled and played with the ring for a while till I felt something call me.

I looked around not leaving the comfort of my bed.

~ Nicole

it was my wolf

~yes?

~ your father is up to no good.

~ don't you think I already know that

~ not the way you think. he's coming for you. you have to work on your skills so when it does happen your ready for the fight.

~ do You know when it might happen?

~ is this why you won't let me get pregnant?

~ I'm sorry but yes.

I felt tears attack my eyes. I knew she was doing this for my own good but it just hurts to know your father is trying to destroy me and my mates life.

~ Kevin can't be the only one to kill your father

"baby hurry up the parade is about to start" I said pulling his arm

"don't worry we'll make it" he smiled and pulled me to his chest

"Kev" I giggled

"don't you want to spend time with your mate baby girl" he smirked

"of course I do" I said brushing my hand threw his hair

"the parade isn't going anywhere" he smiled and moved closer so our bodies were glued

"except down town and around the city" I giggled

he chuckled and bit his lip

"so baby how does it feel to finally be married?" he smiled

"amazing" I replied and pressed my lips on his letting them move in sync.

"Alfa" our driver coughed

Kevin growled on my lips then moved back.

the driver opened the door for us and smiled but Kevin just scoffed at him.

"sorry" I whispered to him then patted his shoulder and plopped in

"kev" I whispered as I crawled in his lap

"what is it baby?" he asked stroking my hair

"I talked with my wolf this morning" I replied as I drew circles on his chest

"oh really. what did you two talk about?" he asked locking his hands around my waist

"well she told me about my father" I said looked down

"really, what about him?" he asked lifting my chin

"she told me that you can't fight him alone" I replied

"that's why I have an army" he chuckled

"no kev she means we have to kill him together, side by side" I said with all seriousness

he nodded and looked down then when he locked eyes with me I knew his wolf was control

"Nicole you know I don't want you on that battle field, You never know what could happen" he replied

"but Kevin you have to trust me on this. we need to fight together" I begged

I watched as his wolf thought and that's when I knew he wanted to speak to my wolf.

I closed my eyes and let her take over.

"my king" she whispered as she rolled her finger down his cheek

"my king the only way to defeat lambar is to have both of us together side by side. but without that a lot of people could die, sadly even the king" she told him

"my queen this is very hard for me to diside" he admitted

"then let me diside. I will hide with some others so after you kill off a large portion link me and I will come" she said holding his cheek and getting closer to him

"is this where destiny leads us?" he asked

"yes my king" she replied

he nodded and thought

"what if we die?" he asked

"we will not die, look we are greater over all packs. we can do this" she said showing him the ring wich had four glowing diamonds

he nodded and kissed her hand

"then it is finished" he replied and pressed his lips on hers with calmed our wolves letting them sink back in

"Kevin" I moaned as he kissed down my neck to my mark

"I love you" he whispered in the crook of my neck

"I love you also" I said pulling his face up and smashing lips letting them move in sync
