Chapter 25
Kevin's point of view
I paced back and forth in the office waiting for my dad to return from his everyday run around the land.
~where are you?!
~ be patient I'll be there in a moment
~ hurry Nicole will be home soon
I felt so alone with out her, it was like someone cut my heart in half slowly.
"I need to know where she is" I said to myself as I paced around the room
I tried I look into her thoughts seeing them as they payed for a long dress that looked like a pale peach.
~ what do you think your doing?
I smiled hearing my baby thew links
~ just making sure my baby was okay
I felt her giggle but then get serious
~ I'll be home soon. No more mind snooping
I smiled
~ yes love
She closed the link making me miss her even more.
"Kevin?" My dads voice broke threw my thoughts
"Hum?" I said still strung up on my mate and how amazing she is.
"You called me up?"
"Oh yeah!" I said remembering what I was going to tell him
"We need to talk about the ceremony" I replied
"Yes I have that under control but you sir must hurry to ask your mate for her hand soon" he replied dusting off a old book
"Why so quickly?" I asked
He flipped the book to a old brown page.
"If you don't marry your mate in at least two years your bond will slowly fade away and so will your wolf" he replied
"My wolf?"
He nodded
"Don't mess this up" he told me handing over a beautiful gold ring with small little diamonds pushed in and a in graving saying: my love. My soul
"Dad what's this?" I asked still examining
"It's going to be Nicole's wedding band, it holds great power so you must be trained before it shows it's true powers" he replied then flipped threw the book again
"When the full moon rises next month make sure she at least has most of it down" he said then put the book back in its place
"Next month?!" I growled
He nodded
"How am I suppose to get all her powers in next mouth!" I said slamming the table
"Calm down Kevin. Just spend alot of time with her after the whole Alfa ceremony and just keep working it" he replied pulling something out of his desk.
"Here it was my fathers then he gave it to me and now it's yours" he said handing me a gold wedding band with the same in graving on it.
"Wow" is all I could say
"I'm proud of you Kevin" he said hugging me
I felt all chocked up as I was hugging my dad, this was the first time in ages since I had left to look after Nicole, it feels like I was missing my other, other half.
