We stayed in each others arms for a little while. When I finally let go, Skye's eyes are streaked, and they make me realize what today was.
"Skye, I don't think tears is the best way to start off your birthday..." I said, she gave me a confused look.
"I nearly forgot, really, how did you know?" She asked me, swiping the tears from her face.
"I was doing research for the meeting and scrolled upon it. I think you should get up and shower, we have a date at eight, dress nice, please." I said as I got up from the floor. She followed me up, and walked into her bathroom.
Time to get ready.
Skye POV
I got up as Dan told me too. Dress nice? I thought as I got into the shower. What was he up to? I quickly washed my hair and got dressed. Ill dress up later. I walked out to grab a bite to eat. Where was Dan?
Dan POV (again)
The lights were right where I wanted them. Tonight was going to be a night to remember...
*time skip to lead to suspense*
I covered her eyes with a bandanna I found in my closet. She looked beautiful in her dress, even more beautiful than she usually is.
"Where are we going?" She asked in her little voice.
"Its a surprise" I said, leading her to our destination. When we finally Skye took off her Blind fold.
Skye POV (again)
I took off the blind fold to see a gazebo, with lights hanging down from the top, and a table with a little box on it. I looked at Dan who had this goofy smile on his face.
He motioned for me to go look at the box. I turned back to the path and walked up slowly. I looked at the table, then felt Dan's arms wrap around my waist.
"Skye, losing you was hard, the two months we were apart, I broke down. I never want to lose you ever again, and I never will. So Skye, will you do me the honor, of being your player Two?"
A smile grew upon my face.
"I do."
