We sat down at the desks they provided. Jessica had nothing on me. She wasnt going to win.
The man looked through some files as we sat there in silence.
"It says here,Mr.Middleton, that you are adopting Skye? Is this true?" he asked. I shook my head.
"It is not, I went to America to find a kid that needed a home, so that child could help me with my job." I said. It was true I never signed the papers.
"And Mrs.Cepter, you are charging him for being a pedophile?" He asked. Jessica nodded then handed the man another envelope. He looked them over.
"Mr.Middleton, is true you are married?" he asked, staring at the papers.
"I used to yes." Where was he going with this.
"So it's true you are having an affair?" He asked.
Skye looked at me, as if I just murdered her family.
An affair?!
