Darcy slid into her desk, breathing heavy and pulling out a notebook and pen. She glanced around the classroom to see everyone throwing glances at her. Her cheeks turned bright red and she stared down at her open notebook. A boy sitting across from her leaned across the aisle.

"Hey. Don't be nervous, love. These idiots just think you're a shiny new toy. They'll leave you alone soon enough. " He leaned back a smile tugging at his mouth. He was tall with black curls and bright blue eyes. Darcy smiled back at him and mouthed a quick 'thank you' before focusing on the teacher.

The bell screamed at the students as they all jumped up and rushed towards the door. Darcy made for the door but stopped when she felt a hand on her shoulder. It was the boy from earlier.

"Hi. I didn't introduce myself earlier. I'm Alex." He smiled warmly tilting his down to look at her. "I'm Darcy. It's nice to meet you Alex." Darcy looked down at her shoes and tucked a strand of her curly brown hair behind her ear.

"You seem familiar. Do I know you?" Alex asked her. Darcy crossed her arms and looked up at him.

"You probably know my dad. Harry... uhm Styles.I'm Darcy Styles." She looked anywhere but him, tapping her foot and waiting impatiently for him to say something.

"You think I care that your dad is famous don't you? I don't. I don't know you or your dad." He shrugged and smiled shyly as Darcy stared at him wide eyed.

"Y-you don't?" Alex just chuckled and shook his head his curls falling in his face. He licked his lips and nudged her towards the door. Darcy stumbled out and frowned glancing up and down the hall before turning to Alex.

"I don't remember where my locker is." She glanced about again and picked randomly to go left. After a few meters she stopped and turned on her heel. After a bit she stopped again and groaned in frustration. Alex jogged after her smirking. He had a sideways smile and deep dimples like her dad. She blushed as she realized she was staring.

"What's your locker number love?" Alex grinned his dimples becoming prominent. Darcy dug around in her papers and pulled out a little pink slip. She handed it to him and he grinned down at it. He pointed one long, slender finger at a locker across the hall. "Right there love." Darcy blushed bright red and nodded, stumbling over her feet to reach it. By the time she slammed it shut Alex was gone.
