Darcy pushed Alex into the room and shut the door behind her. She walked past him and collapsed on her bed. Alex cleared his throat and Darcy sat up.
"So Dad kidnapped you, huh?" Darcy looked down at her hands, feeling her cheeks get warm. Alex chuckled and sat down next to her.
"Kinda. I'm okay though." They sat silently until Darcy sighed.
"We have to talk about the kiss you know." She watched Alex carefully. He ruffled his hair and looked at her. His bright blue eyes piercing her green ones.
"I just... I really wanted to kiss you." Alex sighed and dropped his head in his hands. "I didnt know how you would take it. Or if you would even kiss me back." Darcy put a hand on his back, making him look up. As soon as she could, she kissed him lightly. When she pulled away he stared.
"Alex? I think I love you. And I think I'm totally crazy for loving a complete stranger but I do." Alex broke out in a grin and pulled her into his arms.
"I love you too Darcy." He kissed the top of her head and began humming 'The way you look tonight'.
