They pulled into a small, crowded parking lot and got out. Alex grabbed her hand and pulled her through the door after him. The Stop n' Shake was set up like the diner in Grease. Darcy thought she should be wearing a poodle skirt and that Edward needed a leather jacket.

"Welcome to the Stop n' Shake!" Alex gestured around the diner. Darcy laughed and a girl rushed up to them. She had light reddish brown hair, hazel eyes, and freckles spattered across her cheeks. She gathered Alex in a tight hug and pecked him on the cheek before turning to Darcy.

"You must be the new girl! Darcy, right? You better watch it with this one." She giggled and threw Alex a wink before running off.

"Who was that?" Darcy turned to Edward. His cheeks were tinged pink and he licked his lips.

"Ah... That was Mady. She's a friend of mine. She's a bit out there." Darcy smiled at his embarrassment and thought to herself that Mady seemed nice.

"What did she mean when she told me to watch it with you?" Alex opened his mouth to reply but at that moment a man in all black stepped in the diner. He was wearing black shades that he took off to scan the room.

"I'm looking for Darcy."
