Finally....
Trevor: Hey I'm coming to visit family in Riverside for a few days. Are you busy this week?
Literally the only thing better then a good morning text, is waking up to this!
Me: That sounds great! When are you coming?
Trevor: Tomorrow! I can't wait to finally meet you in person!
Me: I feel the same way! I'm so excited! What do you want to do?
Trevor: Meet me at the Daily Brew at noon?
Me: Sounds great! See you then!
During the entire conversation I'm trying so hard not to die of excitement. And it's not just because "The Famous Trevor Moran" is visiting my town. To me, my friend is coming to town. But either way you put it I'm still absolutely ecstatic to finally meet him. We have been talking for over a month now, whether its Skype or texting, I can't name a day we haven't talked in the past month.
Later I find myself sitting at the kitchen table with some toast.
"You seem happy!" My mother winks at me. "What's up?"
"Take a guess..." My smile widens just thinking about it.
"Hmm.... You... Made a new video?"
"Guess again..." I sing.
My mother guesses a few more times before she finally gives up.
"Come on! Just tell me already!" She's asks like a whiney child.
"Fine. Well... Trevor is coming down to Riverside!" I smile. "We're going for coffee tomorrow!"
"That's great honey!"
Obviously she knows I have become friends with him and they've talked before. She didn't really trust my judgement before. But now she's his biggest fan, besides me of course!
My toast is finished so I run up stairs to watch more YouTube!
The day flies by and before I know it 11:00 comes so fast I nearly miss it. I want to stay up but I need a good nights rest for my big day tomorrow!
