Goodbye

I later find myself saying goodbye. We are outside my front door, the moon is out, it must be late.
We're hugging, I wonder if we ever stopped. I can't remember.
"Are you going to be okay?" He's talking about the movie. I can see why he would be concerned, I was basically hyper ventilating the whole time.
"Yah" I pull my head from his chest, my voice is a bit raspy.

Then it happens. Trevor cups my face with one hand, the other supporting my back. He looks deep into my eyes as I do the same. He leans toward me and his lips crash into my mine. I kiss him back, trying not to lose a precious moment. He tastes like the tacos we had a few hours ago, but I don't care.
The kiss is passionate and when he breaks, he looks as though he just won a million dollars, even though I'm the real winner here.
"I should probably get going!" I don't want him to leave but it's getting late and his family is probably worried.
"Good night" I smile, still feeling the tingling feeling of his lips on mine.
"Bye" and with that he's gone.
When I enter my house I let a sigh of relief escape my lips. Looking out the window, I notice Trevor had an extra spring in his step.
I wonder what he's thinking, while I get ready for bed.
It's not even that late but I know the butterflies in my stomach well keep me up, maybe that just need to settle down.
Although it takes me a while to fall asleep the last thought to cross my mind while I drift off will echo forever...
I kissed Trevor Moran!
