Jenna's POV:
The next few weeks were extremely boring. I would have thought that my parents had forgotten about me being grounded, like they usually did, but that was not the case. A week after the punishment had started I heard there was going to be a huge paintball tournament I really wanted to go, so I told my parents I was leaving and that is when they reminded me I was grounded. Like always, I tried to sneak out but my dear sister decided to be mean and tell my parents what I was doing, so now I am grounded for two more weeks. The only chance I have now to get out of this house is to actually do that stupid Home Ec project, since my parents will let me out of the house to do a group project, as long as they know where I am going and send them a picture of where I am.
That's it, I decide that today in school I was going to tell Senior Prick that we had to get started on that project of ours. I could not stand being locked at home any longer, so this was my only chance of freedom.
"Yo! Senior Prick!" I yelled across the hallway as I saw him up ahead. I couldn't run in these busy hallways without running into people, so shouting was my best resort. Jason stopped talking to one of his friends and turned around.
"When are you free to work on that stupid Home Ec project?" I ask once reach him, smiling slightly at the fact he had responded to his nickname.
"What happened to the 'call me when it's done' that you told me?" Jason asked with a cocky smirk on his face.
"That was before I was grounded and looking to get out of the house" I say simply. "Now answer my question. When. Are. You. Free?" I say with many pauses, as if I were talking to someone brain-dead. No offense to the brain-dead.
"I am free tonight if you want to come over" He stated.
"Sure" I agree, happy that I have a chance to leave the house today.
We agreed that we would meet up by the bench near the front entrance after school and he was going to drive me, since I still don't have a car. With that done I happily made my way to class, not even dreading the fact I had a test I hadn't studied for in that class.
I breezed through the test and was done in a total of 20 minutes. Don't get me wrong, the test was nowhere near easy, on the contrary, it was so hard that I ended up guessing on every question. I still did the test though so I am proud of myself. Plus the teacher said that if we did not get any single question right he would give us an A and give us a 20 dollar gift card. Something about you having to know the material in order to flunk so badly? I don't know, but with my horrible guessing skills I am pretty sure I did not get a single question right. Anyway, once I turned my test in I decided to get up and leave the class. I know I am technically not supposed to, but why would I want to spend 40 minutes in a stupid classroom with nothing to do?
I decided I had suffered through enough school for the day and instead left the grounds and walked to a nearby McDonald's for lunch before heading to my favorite music store. I spent the next 2 hours there listening to my favorite music through those things that they have for you to sample the CDs before buying them. It was lots of fun and I found some really good music that I wanted to buy, but I couldn't since I didn't money with me.
When it was almost time for school to end I walked back to school and sat outside on one of the benches, waiting for Jason to show up. I waited and waited and he finally showed up like 30 minutes later.
"Finally!" I huffed when Jason showed up. "I was about to die of boredom just waiting for you."
"Sorry" Jason muttered.
