Jenna's POV:

It turned out that the club didn't shut my mind up for too long. Sure it was quiet while I was there, drinking and dancing my night away, but now I couldn't silence it as I got ready for school.  Why was it that I was so quick to get angry? And why did I run to the forest of all places? Why didn't I just run to the park or the mall like I usually did?

All of these thoughts were clouding my mind as I got ready for school.  I put on some artfully ripped black skinny jeans, a red crop top and some black vans before heading downstairs for breakfast. The smell of eggs and sausage links was slightly overwhelming,  but I didn't mind. I just wanted some of those sausages. How weird that I could smell what was for breakfast all the way up here? Sure,  I sometimes was able to smell it, but never before had I smelt it so clearly. Was the breakfast smell more pungent than normal, or was my sense of smell suddenly more acute?

I shook my head to rid myself of those thoughts before I continued heading down for breakfast. This was weird, but whatever. Maybe I was just coming down with something. Yeah, that must be it. I was getting sick. There was no other way to explain these weird happenings.  Well either that or my hangover is making me delusional, but that is not very plausible sice I did not drink all that much last night and the alcohol has never affected me that way before.

*************************

"Have fun in school girls" my mom waved happily as she dropped Lillian and I off.

"Bye mom" Lillian said as she hopped out of the car and skipped over to her friends.  She certainly was in a good mood today  I on the contrary was my typical zombie like self.  I was always like a zombie when I did not get enough sleep and thanks to the club and the fact that school starts ridiculously early, I was running on about 3 or 4 hours of sleep.  Definitely not enough for a teenager like me.

That was when I decided that class could wait.  First I needed to sleep a bit more.  With that in mind I decided to ditch class and instead find a place I could take a nap without leaving school grounds becuase it was still early so teachers would be patrolling the doors.

I soon came across an empty classroom in the uncrowded art hallway.  It seemed that this classroom used to be used as a sewing class or something, back when such a class existed because instead of desks there were large working tables and I found some colorful blankets and pillows in the storage room adjoining the classroom.  'this is as good as it's going to get' I though to myself as I grabbed a couple blankets and pillows and set them on the working table and went to sleep.

"Shit!" I exclaimed as I woke up.  The loud bell that signalled the end or the beginning of class woke me up before I desired.  I looked at my phone and saw that I had already missed my first two classes and the bell that woke me up signalled the beginning of my third class.  I really did not want to go to class, but i knew i had to otherwise the teachers would call my mom since i haven't gone to a single class today.

I got to my Home Economics class just as the teacher finished explaining a project about making a three course meal or something.  I simply sat down an was slowly zoning out when I heard Jason say he wanted to be my partner for this project.

"What! No!" I exclaimed, "I do not want to be partners with Jason the prick!".  I really did not want to be Jason's partner for the project he was a huge jackass. 'But he's a hot jackass' my mind reminded me.  Yes, I agreed with myself, he is a hot jackass, but still a jackass.
