Chapter 6: The Big Wigs

We walked through the town which from a distance seemed decimated but in fact was a thriving culture hidden by the demons magic itself that this small community tapped from the local forests.

"So you were bitten by the legendary dae and somehow bonded with it in body and soul." Leo was examining the arm carefully lifting it up and shifting it around.

"If there's any other answers you could give us then that would be nice!" Natalie said impatiently

"Answers would be nice, I just know that it can do more than just put up force fields." Ray mentions.

Just as Ray had spoke an explosion rang from the other side of the town. The five had all snapped there attention over to the now smoke filled street.

"I see 30 plus targets, all with electrical current running through there bodies? How the hell does that work nothing I've seen in this world could be like that unless..." Colton's expression turns from surprised to shocked as he looks over to Duncan and scans his leg.

"It's the syndicates army! I thought they were miles out of the forest?" Leo shouts turning towards the four others.

"We will help just throw up the same smoke that you did when we showed up Leo, Colton get up on a ridge and I'll meet you up there, Natalie you flank right and Duncan take left." Ray spouts out commands as the heroes rush to there positions.

"This looks like a good overhang I can see the whole village from up here. Maybe I can spot some sort of leader or something in the group." Colton scopes in owning through the massive groups that he can now see there are more than the original amount just funneling into the canyon.

"There's the big guy now let's see..." His words are cut short by a large blade shattering a rock nearby.
