Chapter 6 || Panic attack

Dan sighed his mom was forcing him to go and talk to a therapist about him being mute. Dan was confused he wasn't going to speak.to anyone how was this this gonna help him. Dan heard his mom call his name and he began to walk down the stairs to see Phil standing there with his dad holding his arm tightly. Phil had a pained look on his face but he was doing his best to cover it up with a smile

"Phil is coming with us, his Dad said he needed help" Dan's mom said in a sweet voice, the darkness in his eyes showed that he didn't care for his son. Phil's black eye had been covered by layers of makeup, but Dan still knew that it was there. Phil looked scared at his dad let go off his arm, Dan kept his eye tried on the hand that was holding Phil's arm as Phil's dad walked out. Phil has small tears in his eyes but he just went over and hugged Dan tightly. Dan rubbed his back looking at his mother who had an confused look on her face.

Dan just shook his head telling his mom that it was nothing that she needed to worry about Dan's mom nodded knowing that there was no use. She walked into the kitchen saying to the the two boys by her stair way "We leave in an hour" before turning back to the oven. Dan nodded grabbing Phil's hand and bringing him upstairs with him. Phil leaned against Dan's arm small tears leaking from his eyes, his pupils were small and his breathing was faster than normal. Dan was starting to worry about the boy so he hurried up getting to his bedroom placing Phil on the bed, Phil laid down on the bed his breathing getting even faster and his pupils getting even smaller. Dan knew what was happening to his friend he had have quite a few panic attacks in his past. He knew how to deal with them but it scared him to see his friend like this.

Phil's hands was shaking and his breathing was way too fast to be normal. Dan sat down next to him, grabbing his hand trying to get him to focus his eyes on him but it didn't work. Phil's focus point was everywhere. Dan tried to get him to look at him but Phil was not having it. Phil stood up nearly falling down, Dan stood by his side trying to get him to breath. After a few minutes of Dan holding Phil he started to calm down. Dan took a deep breath petting the top of his head as a soothing gesture. Phil took a deep breath looking at Dan with a smile "Thank you Dan" Phil said Dan nodded kissing his cheek before standing up helping Phil up and leading him downstairs to his mother

Dan's mom smiled at the two boys, saying "You boys ready to go?" Dan and Phil nodded (Who here says Phil and Dan?) Dan sighed knowing that he was going to be forced to talk. But Dan really didn't want to
