Chapter Two

It's been a week and Lexi hasn't given up on looking for my baby's father. I pretty much let her but made sure she doesn't go too crazy about it either.

I'm in the shower taking a quick shower when I hear Lexi scream so I turn the water off, hopped out and wrapped a towel around me and ran to the living room where I see Lexi on the couch with a big book on her lap
"Are you okay? You're not hurt anywhere?" I asked drenched in water and shivering
"I'm fine but you won't be when you know what I found just now," she says as I take a seat and I recognize the book from the hotel we went to a week ago
"Lexi please tell me what you did in order to get this book was legal and that there won't be cops breaking our front door down," I said
"Well it wasn't legal but there won't be cops coming today I promise but guess what I found," she squeals points to a name on the 10th page and I see it was Alec's! I copy his phone number into mine and my eyes get big as I continue to look at the number
"I don't know what you did Lexi to get this book but thank you," I said and she smiles
"So are you going to calm him now or not?" She asks and I shake my head no"and why the bloody hell not? I done something bad and you won't call him? Call him now Katherine Marie!"
"Okay! Okay! I am! Jeez!" I muttered and I dialed his number and I got voicemail. Lexi motions me to leave a message and I hesitate after the phone beeps
"Hey Alec... Um this is Kat from that club in Alford that night and I just wanted to see if you are still in town because I have something to tell you and I wanted to do it face to face. Well I guess I'll talk to you later bye,"

Hanging up and feeling relieved knowing that was best choice I made now I wait for him to call me back.

As I'm making myself a cup of coffee, Alec hasn't called me back and I'm starting to feel antsy about calling him in the first place!
I look up and it's almost time to head to class when Lexi squeals again
"What's wrong now?" I asked
"You can't be drinking coffee, actually you can't have any caffeine until you give birth!" She says and I groan
"But I live off of coffee! It's my breakfast!" I whined
"Too bad! Today I'll make a list for you in what you can eat and drink and a list of what you can't eat and drink," she says and I sigh "did he call you back?"
"Nope eh it's whatever he calls he calls," I said "I'm not gonna wait up for him,"
"True that now let's get to school," she says and I nod as I grab my purse and head out.

** 2 hours later **

It's finally my lunch break and just as I was about to text Lexi, I remembered she has class this hour. Just one more hour for me and I can go home and relax after I take a visit to the library.

I was walking down the east corridor when I bumped into someone who I wished I never met in the first place. Tyler.
"Kat? Kat" Tyler say motioning to go by him and when I don't he runs up to me "hey Kat what up?"
"Nothing I was about to leave you?" I said politely as I can
"I miss you Kat and I want you back, I need you back in my life again," he pleads and I shake my head
"You made your decision Tyler and I made mine okay? It's time for you to move on," I said as I try to move past him but he didn't let me go
"That's the thing I can't move on, I'm still in love with you Kat, you're my everything and I'd take everything back to be with you again," he gets on his knees and begs. Nothing can be the same with us, he's a cheating asshole and I'm carrying someone else's baby "Katy please baby take me back and I promise I'll make it up to you, please Kat I need you just as much as you need me,"
"I said no Tyler, me and you are done. I moved on and so should you. I think it's time for you to forget about me," I said and then I try sidestepping him but he grabs my wrists and holds me close to him "let go of me Tyler, I mean it, I'll hurt you if I have to,"
"Katy just hear me out, just take me back and I'll make up everything that was bad between us, I'll make it up to you if you just give me another chance," he pleads
"I'm done giving you chances Tyler, I'm done being pushed around. I'm not the same girl you use to date anymore," I said "let me go Tyler, you're hurting me,"
"No I can't!" He says and then I look up into his eyes and they're either bloodshot cause he's high or he's actually crying "I will never let you go! Never!"
"Owe! Tyler stop! You're hurting me!" I cried "let go of me!"
Tyler didn't do what I said so I landed a nice kick between his legs and he drops
"I told you to let go of me and leave me alone you didn't listen like always. Goodbye Tyler hope you have a good life without me," I muttered as I walk away and head to the cafe down the street.
