Chapter Four

After explaining to Lexi for times what happened at the cafe she seemed to understand the sixth time round and she made me a cup of hot chocolate.
"Thank you," I said as I embrace the warm mug in my hands
"Wow he really didn't say anything after you told him?" She asks and I nod "wow just wow, he totally doesn't deserve a girl like you sweetie,"
"I know but it's not like I'm hungover him," I said and she smiles
"Misses before Misters!" She says and I laugh.

After dinner ends, I head inside the bathroom and I put on the bath and I start to relax under a nice warm bubbly bath. I start to forget about Alec and how I'm pregnant and I start to think about how my life is changing and maybe it's for the good. Don't get me wrong this baby can either help me change my life for the good or I might fail the baby as a single mother.
I push those thoughts away and I start thinking about what to name my baby if the fetus is a boy or a girl.

After soaking in the bath for an hour, the water got cold so I hop out and wrapped myself in my favorite robe and I wrap my hair in the towel and then I walk out the bathroom to find the halls dark.
Lexi might be asleep and I'm craving milk and blueberries.
As I open the fridge there's a note:

Went to a friends house I know it's late but she kinda needs me now sorry for not telling you right away but you were relaxing in the bathtub so I'll see you in the morning and oh! I scheduled an appointment Friday afternoon for your first checkup. Night

Since now that I have the apartment to myself, I pour myself a up of milk and ate a handful of blueberries.
As I'm walking to my room, I see something shift on the couch and then I turned the light on only to drop my cup.

What the hell is he doing in here?

"Alec?" I said and then his eyes lands on mine and I wish I wasn't so gullible for those eyes in the first place
"We need to talk," he says as he walks closer to me and I take a step back
"How did you know where I lived?" I asked
"The same way your little friend did when you were out looking for me," he says
"I don't know what my friend did to get your number," I said and then he's up in my personal space and I take a space back, only my back was pressed against the door and he's still in my personal space.
"I have my ways," he says and then he grabs my wrist and I jump "I'm not gonna bite unless you want me to,"
I sidestep him but was blocked
"Why are you here?" I asked
"Because you're pregnant with my child," he says and I shake my head
"So now you decided to believe me? Didn't say much back at the cafe," I said as I look at the ground
"Because forget it," he says "have you been to a doctor's yet?"
"Going this Friday afternoon," I said and he nods "why are you really here Alec?"
"Because I was an ass back at the cafe and I want to apologize," he says and I nod
"Well you're forgiven," I said and then I yawned "it's getting late good night Alec,"
"Good night see you later," he says and then he leaves me apartment. Weird.

After tossing and turning all night I just couldn't sleep so I grabbed my laptop and put up YouTube and watched reruns of Impractical Jokers until I fallen asleep

Dream:

I'm walking around campus and I see everyone whispering when I walk past them and I sigh as I look down and see my stomach is as big as a watermelon 
Why did I let Alec touch me that night? Just why?
Now my mother hates me she wouldn't even talk or look at me when she visit me. I think she gave up and stopped looking at me and thinks I'm a failure now

"You're a whore!" A freshman says as she approaches me
"Nobody's gonna be your friend!" Someone else says
"You're a pathetic excuse for us women!" A woman shouted at me
"Go back where you belong in whoresville!" Someone shouts and I start to cry as I run away and then my dream changes

I'm in the hospital and I'm in labor and on my last push I hear a sound of a baby crying
"Why did you bring me into this horrible world?" The baby cried "where's my father? You're a horrible mother!"

End of dream

I jerk forward and I wipe the sweat off my forehead
"It's just a dream," I said to myself "only a dream,"

As day breaks in through the curtains, I finally got up and decided to take a long shower not caring if I'm late for class or not
After getting ready and finished brushing my teeth, as I open the door I brush past some people in the halls and I get in my car and head to campus
