"I don't have a choice"

It didn't matter how much fun tour was, by the last few days, everyone was ready to be home. They loved their profession and ability to see the entire world, but there was nothing like a night in your own bed, or seeing your friends, or having an entire closet worth of clothes at reach.

Mitch was always one of the most eager to be home. He found it difficult to follow a lifestyle he loved while touring. One with precisely planned meals, less coffee intake and more sleep, and the excitement of constantly looking for a cute boy.

However, as the plane began to descend and Avi, who had switched seats with Scott, grumpily woke, Mitch wanted nothing more than to return to tour. It had been his safe haven. He was safe not only because of the distance between himself and reality, but also because of the strong arms constantly around him, the blue eyes constantly looking into his own, and the soft, caring voice constantly reassuring him he'd be okay. And now his words and mistakes were catching up to him, his safe haven slipping from his reach. He closed his eyes, a weak attempt at fighting tears and avoiding looking at Scott, and memories of the night before rushed to his mind almost immediately.

"Hey! Open up losers!" Esther screamed as she knocked on Scott and Mitch's hotel room door. "It's our last night! We're---" she was cut off as the door opened and a shirtless Scott looked at her angrily.

"What?" She asked, walking past him and into their room. "You look like I interrupted a nap or a hot make out session."

Scott mumbled something to himself as he followed Esther into the room, throwing his tall body onto the bed next to Mitch, who, unlike Scott, had quite the happy grin upon his face.

"You guys are weird," Esther commented, surveying them both with a skeptical eye. "Anyways, Kate wants a jacuzzi night."

"That sounds amazing!" Mitch cheered. "What time?"

"Anytime. Kate is going down now and so am I. James will be there later."

"I'm in," Mitch said, elbowing Scott as he spoke.

"Yeah, me too," the blonde answered.

"There will be champagne!"

"You always spoil us," Mitch said as he walked Esther to the door. "See you in a few minutes." He shut the door behind Esther and returned to the room, giving a glare that burned into Scott's skin.

"What?" The blonde asked.

"Look happy, geez."

"I am happy. But I was happier with you kissing me."

Mitch raised an eyebrow but went into his suitcase for his swimsuit. He wasn't surprised when he felt arms wrap around him.

"Are you not happy when you kiss me?"
