"You only know what I want you to"
The Southeast Asia leg of tour, for some reason, snuck up on everyone. They had easily fallen back into the routine of being home, and as much as they loved tour, being on the road yet again was something they were dreading (however, they all knew that once they began performing and meeting fans, they wouldn't want to leave).
Kirstie never prepared herself for tour. The majority of the time, she wouldn't even begin packing until after 11 pm the night before their departure. She knew it was a bad habit, but she had procrastinated all throughout her school career and still managed to be an excellent student. Jeremy could normally sense her stress as she ran around their apartment washing clothes and throwing them into bags. He was smart enough to stay out of her way, but always gave her a massage once she had both calmed and settled down.
Avi probably would've forgotten about tour altogether if Esther hadn't mentioned it during a conversation. He was helping finalize plans for Acapella Academy, which he was more than excited to attend once they returned from tour.
Kevin had been presented a new piece to play by one of his friends. And it was difficult, even for his talented fingers and natural ability. He was an extremely hard-working and dedicated man, especially when given something challenging. This piece might've been the death of him, but he didn't mind dying for perfection.
Scott was mentally ready for tour, but it was the day before they were due to leave and he hadn't even touched a bag. His dilemma, which was most likely the most peculiar of all, was that he didn't want to pack. Not because he was lazy (which, lets face it, he was at times), but because his clothes were at his apartment. And what else is at his apartment? His beautiful, funny, smart, caring, and talented ex boyfriend whom he couldn't quite face yet. He landed onto Mitch's couch with a sigh, trying to figure out how he could prolong his hiding out longer.
Mitch and Levi were pitiful. They'd had a wonderful weekend, and didn't quite know how to let each other go. As they lay in bed, their bare bodies cuddled together, ideas swam around Levi's bedroom, both of them thinking of ways to have Mitch miss tour.
"You could have a family emergency," Levi proposed.
"No, won't work. We're all really close, and they'd know if something happened to someone in my family."
"Okay," Levi said slowly as he continued thinking. He sighed. "You know what, that's it. I'm out of ideas, looks like I'll just have to let you go."
"Ouch! Giving up on me that easily!"
"You weren't even worth the time that I did give you."
"Keep going. Really, I dare you."
Levi laughed and slipped out of bed, leaving Mitch to miss his warmth. "I'll go make breakfast," he said once he had slipped on boxers.
"We slept until like noon. Don't you think it's too late for that?"
"Are you kidding? It can be eaten at all times."
"Oh, sorry. Geez, so protective over breakfast."
"It's the most important meal of the day!" Levi called as he walked into the kitchen.
Mitch rolled his eyes and stretched, a content sigh escaping his lips. He didn't even want to think about tour at the moment. If anything, he wanted to relive this weekend until it was physically impossible.
Talking all night, watching movies, dancing around the house, amazing sex, and playing MarioKart. It was perfect and everything that Mitch wanted, and that he hoped never ended. He'd wanted this for so long, the feeling of truly mattering to someone, to feel cared about and wanted. Granted, he had those things from the abundance of love provided by his family and friends, but it still wasn't the same. There was something different about the desire and endearment from someone who held your heart. Someone who truly understood you, but also understood that at times they wouldn't understand you.
