I stood there speechless, but not letting my guard down. "You're lying," I snarled,"No we really are!" "Oh really? Then what's her name?" I challenged.
"Her name is-um. It's um," "SEE YOUR LYING!" I quickly got out my gun and shoot it in the air, letting it echo through the woods. I heard the familiar moaning and groaning coming closer and closer, so that was my cue to run before it's to late. I sprinted until I heard wheels behind me, I quickly turned around and shot two tires out and continued running.
The undead was getting close and I can tell that they are going to have trouble. I continued running until I saw a small cabin in the distance, there were a few undeads at the entrance so I switched my gun into my crossbow and shot the ones there. I ran towards the cabin and as soon as I got there, my clumsy ass fell.
(A/N: True fact, my ass probably would never survive long because of how clumsy I am.)
I let out a scream of agony,"NASH OPEN THE DAMN DOOR!" I quickly heard it unlocked and I got pulled in. I turned and look at Nash and he let out a quick breath of relief,"I was so worried and so was Del!" "Look I'm sorry, but I had to get them off our asses so we could be able to roam free and not get taken into a ratchet ass camp." "What's so wrong about a camp? They're protecting us!"
I rolled my eyes and tried to get up, but failed and fell down on my ass again. "Oh my god are you ok Annabelle?" "Yeah, I just think that I might have sprained my ankle." Oh great, a sprained ankle. I noticed that there isn't any furniture around, great.
Notice the sarcasm dripping from my mouth? "You want to know what's so bad about camp?" He nodded and urged me to continued,"I was there once and it wasn't so pretty. You have to do everything they say correctly or they will punish you, and if you disrespect them they have a room with an undead in it. They will chain you up to the wall first and then release the undead, they will let you suffer during your death."
He nodded and kind of looked scared,"I had to escape that hell hole, so one night was my plan. I didn't tell anybody because then they would want in and they would just slow me down. It took me about a week to get out of there, and luckily no one gave a flying fuck about me so it was easy to escape. Well sort of, the place was pretty protective so I had to get through everything. And that is why camp is a place we should never go, especially for you and Delilah.
I don't want to risk your guys life." He nodded understandingly, he came over and hugged me like it was his last time seeing me. "Annabelle," I heard a soft voice behind me,"Hey sweetheart." She ran up to me and hugged me too,"I missed you so much! I thought I lost you."
"You will never lose me sweetheart." She played down on my lap and I played with her hair while singing SleepSong by the Secret Garden. I heard soft snores, I looked down and notice she was asleep. I looked over at Nash who was smiling like an idiot,"You know," He trailed off. "You're going to be a great mother."
I smiled at him,"Thanks! You're going to be a great father!" He smiled wider, looking like a cheshire cat. I picked up Del and I went to a corner of the room, I sat down and placed her back on my lap. I motioned Nash over and patted my lap.
He came over and played on my lap. I begin playing with his hair and soon heard louder snores, I looked down and noticed that he was asleep. I giggled and waited for a while, waiting for darkness to take over my body. Soon later, it did.
