Blinking away from the harsh light, I got up. Looking around, observing my surrounding. Everything was misty and I was in this beautiful white dress. Where am I?

"You're in the middle between life and death, sister."

Jumping from surprise, my eyes followed where the voice came from. "Grace?" She smiled,"The one and only." I looked at her confused,"You look older than the little girl I used to know."

"Its me, I swear." "Where am I?" "Did you not listen, you're in the middle. You know, between life and death." Life and death? Is that possible? "It is, sister." "You can read my mind?" "Yes I can." I nodded my head. "So hows life down there." "Fine until I saw your dead body, up and moving." She nodded,"What about your friends?" "I don't know." She smiled,"Do you want to?" I nodded,"Of course!" She waved her hands and a small mirror appeared out of thin air. "Here." She handed me the mirror.

There was a scene in the mirror. Not just any scene, it was a scene with my friends. I saw my body being carried by Nash, and everybody was running to a forest like area.

In The Mirror:

"Lay her here." Gently laying my lifeless body down, they got to work. "Someone pass me the needle, we got to patch her up." They started to clean, stitch, and cover my wound in bandage. "Please come back to me Annabelle, I miss you, everybody miss you. And," a stray tear fell out of Nash's eye,"I love you." Cat had broken down, sobbing , gripping onto my body,"Why her of all people."

I couldn't watch anymore. Giving back the mirror to my sister, I fell to the ground, tears falling freely from my eyes. "You can always go back."

"What?"

"You heard me, you can go back. You're not dead, but you're not alive either. Its your choice if you want to go back or go with me." I stared at the misty ground,"How do I go back?" She smiled,"Thats what I thought. You just have to walk through this portal." With a click of her fingers, a vortex appeared. "Go on, and I hope I don't have to see you in this situation again A." I gave her one last hug and walked through the portal, ready to face that god awful world again.

3rd Person POV

Everybody was mourning over the "death" of Annabelle Smith. They all huddled in a group and held each other, grieving. They were oblivious to Annabelle's hand moving, all except one person. "Her hand moved!" Squealed the little girl,"Not now Delilah." She pouted,"I'm not lying guys, mommy always told me to never lie unless needed to. Just look!"

They all sat by her lifeless form, waiting for a sign of life. Sighing, they all started to get up. "See Del, she's gone, for good." Before all of them started to walk away, Annabelle let out a groan. Whipping their heads to the sound, they ran towards her, asking a million questions at once.

"Are you ok?"

"What happened?"

"Do you need anything?"

Rubbing her temples,"Guys, I love you, but please, shut up. I'm getting a headache." Cat laughed at her cousin,"Welcome back, cousin." Everybody huddled together in a big group hug, joyful since their loving friend is up and alive. "Mommy?" Annabelle finally noticed the little girl that was only a few feet away from the group. Everybody pulled away, she walked towards the young girl and Delilah jumped into her arms. "Don't leave me again, please." She pulled her into her body tighter,"Never in a million years." Setting her down, she turned to all of her friends,"Alright guys, lets get moving."

All of a sudden, Storm fainted. "Storm!" Tate held his little sister's head on his lap, wondering what had gotten into her. She whimpered as she laid her hand on her stomach, lifting the shirt to reveal a big secret.

"You're bit? How?" She smiled,"Its easy T, when we were fighting off the undead, one of them took a chunk off my stomach. I didn't want you guys to worry, so I covered it." She winced as he ran his finger along the bite,"It's too late Storm. Why didn't you tell us!" She cradled his face between her hands,"Don't worry, I'll be fine. Worry about you and everybody else. But please, as a death wish, I want you to put the bullet through my head. Please, don't let me suffer through the process. Don't let me be those monsters." Sniffling, he nodded at his sister,"I failed to keep you safe, I failed mom."

She wiped his tears away,"No you didn't, you tried you're hardest and thats all that matters. Now please, finish this for me. Finish it for us." Tate pressed a final kiss on her forehead, laying her down on the ground gently. Storm took a final look at all the friends she made on her journey, thanking them with a sad smile. "Goodbye guys, I love you all and thank you. For everything." Tate looked away as he pulled the trigger, letting out a loud sob. Everyone came in to comfort each other, especially Tate. He was the closest one to her since he's her brother and all.

"Come on, we have to get to Washington."

"You guys go ahead, I'll catch up to you." Nash came up to Tate,"Look dude, we know its hard for you. We're all mourning over her. But she would want you to be safe and happy. If you won't do it for yourself, do it for her. Do it for Storm." He heard every word he said, crystal clear. His eyes flickered between his sister's corpse, that was slightly smiling, and his group of friends,"You didn't loose all of your family, you have us. Come on Tate, lets got to Washington, together." A stray tear fell from his eyes,"Ok," He smiled,"Lets do it." He firmly grasped Nash's hand as He pulled Tate up and pulled him into a hug.

Pulling back from the hug, he stuck his hand out,"To Washington." They all smiled at the boy,"To Washington!"
