We all packed our stuff and headed out our little hideaway from this world. Now, our group consists of eight people counting me. "Where are we now?" I heard someone asked,"I believe we are in Richmond, Virginia." We continued to do our normal stuff like Del on Nash's back, Storm and Cat shoving each other playfully, Tate staring in adoration at my cousin, Rain on Damian's back cause she said her legs hurt, and me trying to keep everyone safe from any danger. I knew there was a little chemistry going on between those two.

Cat was never the one to date. She kept to herself most of the time, but I think that's about to change. "Guys we need to hurry!" Cat said, snapping me out of my little daydream. I turned around to notice that there was a total of about thirty undeads behind us. We all started to run and escape from death. I heard someone scream, but not just anyone.

It was Catherine.

I felt like everything was in slow motion. There she was, on the floor, with an undead on top of her. I tried to get my bow out as fast as possible. She's my only family left. I shot the undead right between it's eyes. She was still in shock, desperately trying to recover. How I know? I can see it in her eyes.

Everyone turned around now, taking out their weapons and trying to defend themselves and their loved ones. I was shooting at the ones that are coming close to Cat and the ones that are behind Del and Nash.I ran towards Cat, picking her up and started to run again with everyone to safety. I now notice the little bite on her arm.

This can't be happening!

Once we are away and out of danger's way for now. "I can't believe I let that happen," She whispered. Her shocked expression turned into a panicked one. "Please! Help me! I-I got bit a-and I don't want to be one of them!" "Everyone look for something sharp and quick!" I ordered frantically. Everyone began to look for something, but then I remembered I had some scissors in my backpack. I put my pack down and began to search for them. "Catherine! Come here!" I broke the scissors so I have one side to cut with. "Sweetheart can you look in my backpack and search for some bandages and everyone can you look in your bags too?" I turned to look at Cat.

"I am so sorry." I gave her a sympathetic look.

She nodded understandingly.

She shut her eyes tightly while I started to cut her arm from the elbow. Once I got down to the skin, blood started to quickly ooze out. She started to whimper, knowing if she scream she can lure them back here. I started to saw off her arms and once I got to the bone, I had to think of something else. "Rain! Get that rock over there!" She quickly ran to the rock and threw it to me. I caught it and got the scissors to stick between the connecting bone and pounded the rock on top of it.

That hit Cat's point.

She started to scream and cry. Nash finally found some bandages in his bag and handed to me. I finally cut the rest of her arm off. By now Tate was holding her, Cat passed out, Rain is looking panicked, Daniel is alert and looking at the direction we just came from, Nash holding Del, Storm looking like a she saw a ghost, and me trying to bandage her new little nub. I finally bandaged it and told someone to find me something to keep it in place.

We were somewhere near a little lake. Storm finally snapped out of it and started looking near the lake. I was confused for a second so I turned to look at her nub. She was still in Tate's arms, unconscious. Storm then came up to me and handed me something, fishing hooks. "You're a genius, Storm! Can you go find some more and maybe some fishing lines, just incase." She nodded and went back to the lake. "You're gonna be alright, Cat. I don't think so, I know so." I whispered to her unconscious body. We all started to pack our stuff again and continued moving, but with Cat on Tate's back.

Hey, don't blame us, he volunteered.

We continued moving like that until we could find shelter and protection. I notice to my left that there was an undead with a knife in it's head. I walked towards it, taking out my bow just incase its not completely dead. I inched slowly at the corpse and then I finally reached towards my deathly goal. I slowly took out the knife and stabbed it again to make sure.

I then took it out and observed it. Nicely detailed- I ran my finger over the blade, sharp- I then put it in the middle of my palm, and light weight. Perfect for Del, but I will give her lessons on melee weapons later on. I now noticed that everyone was looking at me now. I shrugged and made my ways towards them.

All of a sudden a gasped was heard.

We snapped our heads to look at Cat that was still on Tate's back. He slowly put her down on the ground and started to look in his bag for something. Her eyelids started to flutter open, but then quickly retreaded back at the harsh sunlight getting into her eyes. Tate finally pulled out a water bottle and handed towards Cat. She grabbed it with her hand, but then handed it back.

"Drink it Cat."

"I can't."

"Why not?"

"Cause I only got one hand."

She pointed out the obvious. Tate's face flushed of embarrassment and opened it for her. She then gulped it down to half the bottle. "I'm gonna have to get use to this, don't I?" We nodded with sympathy on our face. "Oh save the pithiness! I still can protect myself, I just need to change how I use to do stuff and get use to it. I got a lost arm, not heart." I smiled proudly at her and reached my hands toward her, trying to help her up. She accepted it gratefully and I pulled her up. She looked at her nub and inspected it.

"Nice job, Ann."

She then dusted herself off and continued walking like everything is normal and nothing has changed.

That's my cousin!
