Chapter 11: Getting Closer And Closer

Once we got outside we had to walk very carefully, they are way to close for my comfort. We started walking towards the more forest like area,"So what's the plan?" Nash whispered, I turned to look at Del and notice how much she has grown. Even though I haven't been in her life since she was born, I kinda feel motherly protective over her. "Run the hell out of here once were in the clear," He nodded.

Once we got close I made Del go on Nash's back since he's stronger,"Ready? Good now I want Del to hold on tight, but not to tight to chock Nash." She giggled and we began to run. Everyone was silent, the only noise you here is the undead, leaves and twigs snapping, and the whipping winds going through the run. We continued to run and I saw a bridge.

"Come on guys let's go over the bridge!" We ran towards the bridge, and then we stopped,"Now what?" Nash said while setting down Del,"I say," I trailed off while looking on the other side on the bridge. I spotted a big house on top of a hill,"We head over there," I said as I pointed towards the house. He nodded and we started to head their with Del in the middle of us.

It started to fog up a bit, but we continued walking and then someone just pops out of nowhere,"Who are you people?" I looked at the mysterious figure and the familiar voice,"I SAID WHO ARE YOU PEOPLE!" The voiced boomed. It sounds so familiar! I just can't put a finger on it.

The mysterious figure came closer, then it hit me! It was my cousin that cared for me, it was Caitlyn. We use to be so close until she had to move. "Caitlyn?" "How do you know my name?"

I came closer to her through the fog,"It's me, Annabelle." I said softly,"Anns?" I nodded, but then I realized that she can't see me clearly so I walked up to her. The fog started to clear up and once it all disappeared and there stood my beautiful cousin, Caitlyn. I always thought of her as my older sister. 

I ran towards her and hugged her, with tears running down my face,"I missed you so much Cat you don't even understand." "I missed you too Anns!" She then looked behind me and started to notice Nash and Del,"I didn't know you had a child together." I looked at her with wide eyes,"Oh no no not yet I'm not going to have a baby in a apocalypse!" I explained to her what happened during the month and she told me hers.

It feels great to finally have a little bit of my family back, let's just hope to keep it this way.

(A/N: HELLO! Sorry for not updating for a couple of days, I was trying to think of ideas and then I have a school project too. FML, we had a pep rally but they canceled it because "the 7th grade is to loud" even though it was 8th grade. I literally hate everyone at that school except for my friends and all. Well today's my brother's birthday so bye! Oh and sorry for the short chapter, we all have those days.)
