Chapter 4: Sick Mindy

Okay... So I know this story has been updating really quickly cause I have time... It may be boring but it is going to get really exciting.

Mindy's POV

KRING! KRING! My alarm clock rang. My eyes woke up slowly. As I breathe in, realize that I have a runny nose. Oh god! I'm sick!!! "MANDY!!!" I yelled with my sore throat. She rushed over and looked at me worriedly. "What happened?!" She asked. I pointed to myself and said, "I'm sick." Her eyes widened. "YOU'RE SICK?! OH NO! WHAT DO I DO?!" She started to panick. I hit her in the head and yelled, "Get me clothes and medicine!" She nodded and immediately ran to the kitchen, got medicine, gave it to me and gave me clothes that were under 'Sick Clothes'. I changed into it after bathing and walked to class with Mandy. (A/N: They can't I teleport as they can't use their powers in school unless necessary.)

I walked into class and sat down at my seat next to Chanyeol. "Annyeong!" He greeted me. "Annyeong.." I greeted him back with no energy. He looked at me. "Gweanchana?" He asked me, worriedly. I nodded. "Just a bit sick with a runny nose and sore throat." I explained. He nodded. "Class settle down!" The teacher said.  As she started the lesson, I soon began to drift to Neverland.

Someone poked me and I slowly flutter my eyes open. I sat up and noticed that everyone was looking at me. "Miss Park. How dare you sleep in my class!" The teacher yell. HOW DARE I SLEEP IN HER CLASS. TRY BEING SICK FOR ONE DAY! "Well, I'm sorry Miss but the reason I was sleeping is because I had to finish your stupid project on EXOPLANET." I retorted. She narrowed her eyes on me. "In what way is this project stupid?!" She asked, obviously angry. I stood up, and said,"Well Miss, I have three points. First of all, based on what we are learning in history, we are learning about Neptune and not our own planet. Second, our mid-terms are coming up and history is not part of the test. Third, this is present in the handbook. Anyone could have just copied. Have you ever thought about that?" She looked at me with irritation. "That still does not give you the right to sleep in my class." I SWEAR THIS GIRL IS GETTING ON MY NERVES. "Well try being sick for a day, forced to go to school. Especially with a runny nose and a sore throat." I told her curtly.

KRING! KRING!

"I shall not pursue this anymore. Class dismiss and I would like to see Miss Park sister, Miss Park." She ordered. I walked out of the class and waited for my sister. "Mandy, may I ask why is your sister so cranky today?" I heard the teacher ask.
"She's sick today and she gets real cranky when she is sick." Mandy explained. She walked out after saying that. "Kaja." I told her as I walked away. We walked towards the cafeteria and Chanyeol called out to us. I walked towards their table while Mandy went to buy Milo. "Gweanchana?" Kris asked. I nodded. They looked at me worriedly. "Aren't you going to eat anything?" Lay and Chen asked at the same time. I shook my head. "Not hungry." I replied with my blocked nose. Then I saw a thermos in front of me. "Drink this. It helps to open your appetite." I looked up to see D.O looking at me. "Thanks..." I muttered. I opened it and took the spoon on the table. I took a sip of the soup and it was actually kind of nice. I drank the whole soup in just a few mouthful. Everyone looked at me, amazed at how I drank the soup so fast. "Wait... Can I ask why is Mindy sick and not Mandy." Suho asked. "Cause I'm the night person and Mindy's the morning and afternoon person." Mandy replied. Suho nodded and continued with his meal.

The day went pass in a blur and I was still sick but of course better than in the morning because of D.O's soup. I was nearly back in to my normal state. Well.. NEARLY. I was walking back to my dorm when I heard someone called out to me. "MINDY!" I turned around to see Chen running towards me. I raised my eyebrow. "Yes?" I asked. He stopped running and tried to catch his breath. "S..Someone is.. Looking.. For.. You ." he said breathlessly. He pointed to the classroom and I walked in. A group of students was crowded over a vandalised table from my angle. "YOU!" A girl from my class pointed at me. I looked at her . "Yes?" I asked her. "YOU VANDALSED MY TABLE!" she yelled. I looked at her then at her table. I stared at it. Then I looked up at her. "What proof do you have?" I asked. She looked at me then at the table and pointed to a signature. "Isn't this your signature?" Sh asked. I looked at it. It was indeed an 'M' but definitely not my signature. "No. That's not my signature. That is..." I looked at it closely. Then a girl appears in front of me. I looked closely and her books has her name. "Melody. This girl is Melody." I confirmed. They all look puzzling at me. "No, it can't be her! She is my best friend." That girl defended her 'friend'. I rolled my eyes. "Friends betray you." I told her. Then another girl voice could be heard. "She's right. It was me who did it." We turned around and saw a girl with long black hair and she was kinda short. That girl stared at Melody, eyes widened in shock. "H..How could you?" That girl softly whispered. Melody looked down on the floor. I could hear sniffling from her. "I did it because I was jealous. You had all the friends and always hanged out with them. I thought you were my best friends so I told myself that you will continue to hang out with me. But in the end, you hanged out with your other classmates than me so I got jealous. So I decided to vandalise your table to vent out my anger." she explained. Now, both of them had tears in their eyes. "I'm sorry Mel. I'm really sorry. I didn't know your feelings that well. I'm really sorry!" That girl apologised. "Friends?" She asked. Melody looked up, red-eyed and red nose. She nodded and both of them hugged each other. I, once again, rolled my eyes. Ugh! Friend drama. So dramatic for what?! I was about to walk out of the room when someone called me. "How did you know it was her?" I didn't even bother to turn around. "Powers. They just popped into my head so I know." After I said that, I walked out of the room. 

"Hey! Where did you go?!" Mandy asked me. "Just settling some stuff." I answered. She nodded and continued to walk back to our dorm room. The moment I stepped into my dorm room, I quickly bathed, ate and went to bed. Leaving Mandy to do everything.
