Chapter 7: Confession?

Mindy's POV

When Chanyeol and I went back to our hotel room, I went to the balcony to see the view. The view was really amazing! It was a view of the beach and wind was constantly blowing. The water looked so clam and the sand was really... wow.. I could no even describe! It was just so amazing! "Hey! What'cha doing out there?" I heard Chanyeol ask. "Looking at the spectacular view!" I replied back as he walked towards me. He swung his arm around my shoulders and immediately, there were butterflies in my stomach and my heart started to pump super fast. "The view is really daebak isn't it?" He asked while admiring the view. "Y...Yeah.." I stammered. Mindy! Why are you stammering?! Ugh! Get a grip Mindy! "C'mon! Let's start unpacking!" He said as he looked at me and gave me his signature smile. My heart pumped even faster. "Okay." I squeaked. We went in and started to unpack. "So, you want the queen-sized bed or single bed?" Chanyeol asked me. I thought about it. "Single." I told him. "Okay." He agreed. After unpacking, we realised it was already dinner time. "You hungry?" He asked. "A tint bit." I told him. He asked me whether I wanted to go down and eat and I agreed.

When we went down, we did not see many people as we expected. We saw a whole spread of food and there were different varieties of food. Chanyeol and I got what we wanted and started to eat. "Um... Mindy.. Can you wake up early tomorrow? " Chanyeol asked. I nodded. "Why?" I asked. "I planned something that both of us can do." He answered. I nodded again. After eating, we both went up and while walking to take the elevator, we bumped into Luhan and Mandy. "HEY!" I literally yelled at them. They looked at us and waved. "Wassup?" Luhan asked as he fist bumped Chanyeol. "How's your room?" I asked Mandy. "It's so small." And here goes Mandy whining about the hotel room. "Okay. Okay. I get it." I told Mandy. I was really getting annoyed. "Let's go Chanyeol." I said dragging Chanyeol away.

We went into our room and Chanyeol went to wash up first while I wait. I laid down on my bed and started to wonder about things. While I was wondering why unicorns don't exist and why I am not a mermaid, Chanyeol came out of the shower. "You can go in now." He told me. I grabbed my Rilakkuma onesis and went to bathe. I finished and put on my onesis then did a cute pose in front of mirror before going out of the bathroom. "What do to now?" I questioned Chanyeol who was on his phone. He looked up at me and gasped. "W...What?" I asked him "SO CUTEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!" He exclaimed when he saw me in my Rilakkuma onesis. Oh. So he likes Rilakkuma too! "You like Rilakkuma too?!" I asked excitedly. He nodded. And so, the whole night we talked about Rilakkuma characters until we fell asleep.

"RISE AND SHINE!" Someone yelled. I groaned and slowly opened my eyes. "WHAT?!" I yelled back at the big ears guy whose is in my face right now.  "We have an outing today remember?" He reminded me. Oh yeah! An outing. Right. "Okay. Lemme go get ready." I told him as I slowly got up. I went to the bathroom and changed into my bikini which I wore underneath my crop top and denim shorts in case Chanyeol is bringing me to the beach. I stepped out and saw him waiting for me as he was sitting on the bed playing on his phone. "Kaja!" I told him as he looked up at me. He smiled and kept his phone and we headed out. 

"Where are we going Chanyeol?" I asked as we were walking. "We're here." He answered. We arrived at a small waterfall with a lake at the bottom and there were trees and rocks. There was also a piece of land that was dry that we could sit on.  He laid the picnic mat there and put the basket next to it. "Picnic? Really?" I looked at the mat while saying. He grinned. "Yeah! I knew you like waterfalls and so I planned to have a picnic here." He explained. I looked at the waterfall. "I really like it! Thanks!" I thanked him while looking at the waterfall. He smiled. "Glad you do." He replied. We sat down and ate the food he prepared which was strawberries, sandwiches, sliced watermelons and grapes. "Where did you get all these?" I asked while munching on the sweet strawberry. "I took them from the buffet this morning." He told me. I laughed. "Wow!" was all I could say. "Let's go for a swim." He suggested. I agreed and took of my crop top and denim shorts while he took off his shirt and jeans which leaves me in my bikini and him in his swimming trunks. "LEGGO!" I yelled and jumped into the water. It was so cold yet felt so fresh. Soon after I jumped, Chanyeol jumped. I laughed with joy and he did too. We spent literally half a day there. Swimming and fooling around in the lake. We got out of the lake still laughing at each other. we wore our clothes back and packed our things. "Lets go!" I said. "Wait! Mindy! I have to tell you something!" He yelled to me. "What do you have to tell me?" I asked. He took a deep breath . 

"Well. Ever since the day you stepped into the classroom door and ever since I looked at you in the eye and talked to you, I realise that we have a lot in common. Everytime you smile, it makes my heart go fast. Everytime you laugh, it creates butterflies in my stomach. And I realise something a few days ago. I think I have fallen for you Mindy. So I want to ask you... Will you be my  girlfriend?" Chanyeol confessed

I was shocked. Utterly shocked. I didn't know what to say. Chanyeol confessed and asked me out. "Mindy? It's alright if you don't want to. I just had to con-" I cut him off by saying, "Yes. I will be your girlfriend." He looked then soon broke into a smile  then engulfed me into a hug. We broke the hug and looked into each others eyes. We slowly moved in and soon our lips touched. We had kissed! Our first kiss! We broke the kiss and smiled at each other. "So we're offical now?" He asked. "Yes, Channie, yes we are." I replied.He kissed my cheeks and we walked back to the hotel.
