Chapter 18: Xiao Mei's Last Day

Mindy's POV
Waking up the next day and doing the same thing but something tells me that it's a special day today. Is it Summertime Week Performance? No, that's next week. Hmm... I kept wondering but I don't know what day it was. All I know is that my predictions are always correct so I wore my Star Wars crop top and Star Wars pants since they were a pair. I woke Mandy and she too thinks there's something special today. "It's a Friday..." She muttered. Friday... Friday... FRIDAY! "It's the day Xiao Mei's leaving!" I yelled, finally knowing. Mandy's eyes widened. "Yes! Finally!" She cheered. She immediately wore her favourite shirt and shorts and we went to class.

We smiled brightly when we walked in, happy that that lil' bitch is finally going to go. We saw the boys also smiling brightly, especially Luhan. "What's the occasion?" Lay asked, looking at us confused. "Don't you know? It's the day where Xiao Mei's leaving!" Luhan exclaimed. "Yup! I can't wait!" Mandy exclaimed. The couple smiled at each other. "Lulu!" Someone yelled. Xiao Mei of course! Who else would have such sickening voice? Our attention turn to her. "What?!" He spat. "I'm leaving today!" She pouted. "Yeah. I know. Which means more time to spend with Mandy." He bluntly said and kissed Mandy on the cheek. "Won't you miss me?" She asked, batting her eyelashes. "Not one bit." He said. She looked hurt or feigned hurt. She pouted. "Can you go away? You're annoying and your voice is waking me up." Lay said. Oh! Burn. "Hm!" She yelled and stomped her feet before walking away. "Wow. Didn't know you could be like that Lay." Baekhyun said, amazed. "You go Xing Xing!" I exclaimed. They all looked at me. "What?" I asked. "How can she call you that and I can't?!" Chanyeol and Baekhyun exclaimed. Lay shrugged. "She's different." Lay answered and fell back into his slumber. "OKAY CLASS! LET'S START!" the teacher yelled as she walked into the classroom.

-LUNCH-

"Love your outfit, Jagi." Chanyeol commented. I smiled at him. "Thank you." I answered. Baekhyun looked at me. "OMG! ITS THE STAR WARS OUTFIT!" Baekhyun yelled upon seeing my outfit. The boys checked it out. "Cool. But it's not my style." Kris stated. "Of course not. It's an outfit FOR GIRLS, Kris. If it was your style, you'd be a girl." I told him. He rolled his eyes at me and I stuck out my tongue. We sat down at our usual spot when a guy came up to us. "Mindy?" He called out. I looked at him. "Yes?" I asked. "Urm.. Mrs Leh wants you to meet her along with the rest." He said timidly. I nodded. "Ok. Thanks." I said and smiled at him. He blushed before scattering away. "What does she want us for?" Tao asked. We shrugged. "Dunno. Let's go and check it out." Xiumin said and we all went to the office to see her.

"You wanted to see us?" I asked as we sat down on the chairs that were meant for us. Mrs Leh nodded. "Yes. I want to tell you something." She took the visualiser remote and turned it on. (A/N: They were in a meeting room) A few faces appeared. "These guys are in a gang and they are often known as 'The Street Gangs'. They are currently in EXOPLANET and we have gotten news that they are planning to attack the school." She explained. "But why?" Chen asked. "They say that our school history has to do with their boss and that something bad happened to him here and his gang is here to seek revenge." Mrs Leh explained. We nodded. "So what do you want us to do?" Baekhyun asked. Wow.. Is this the first time he's that serious? "I want you to fight against them." Mrs Leh said. "WHAT?! But they're a street gang. With POWERS!" Chanyeol explained. D.O. smacked his head. "We have the royals here." He stated. Chanyeol looked at us and sheepishly smiled. "Oh yeah..." We shook our heads and Mrs Leh told us,"Remember be aware of your surroundings. Stick together as one." We nodded and left.

"So, are we supposed to train?" Sehun asked. "We should." Tao said. "WE NEED TO PROTECT OUR SCHOOL!" Baekhyun protested. "Keep it down." D.O. hissed. We looked at each other and sighed. We all decided to train after school and went to class.

The bell rang and we all were dismissed from class. "Lu!" Xiao Mei called out to him. "What?" Luhan hissed. "I have to leave for the airport soon. Aren't you going to send me?" She asked. "No. I'm busy. And we have something to do." Luhan said while putting his arms around Mandy's waist and kissing her cheek. That made Mandy blush. "But. But." Xiao Mei wanted to protest but I cut her. "We're really busy and it would be a very nice thing for you to do if you leave. NOW." She looked at us and sighed. "Alright." She said and walked away sadly,

"I feel guilty." Luhan said. "She's just acting." I told him. He nodded and we headed to the battle room.

We reached the battle room and started to get the equipments we needed. "Alright boys. Let's get started with martial arts." I said and gathered them into a line.
