Recap :
Kailan clenched his fists. "Tynan," he said through gritted teeth.
Tynan flicked the dagger up and Kailan snatched it before the other could. The elf gave a graceful bow as he said, "At your service, your highness,"

"What do you want?" Kailan bit out, his arms crossed over his bare chest. Thankfully, he had put on some pants or this would've been an awkward conversation, Tynan thought. The girl was nowhere to be found. He figured the prince had managed to call up a portal to the Seelie realm and had sent her on her way.
A Seelie. He still couldn't believe it, even if he had seen it with his own eyes. But he had, and that's what made it even harder to believe.
Centuries it had been since a union such as this had ever happened. And centuries after the incident had left the two courts bitter enemies. It was one of the reasons when the realms were divided between the higher plains, the Seelie chose to go with the angels and the Unseelie had gone with the demons. Their powers had been compatible while with each other, they had been constantly at each others' throats.
King Alfaheim, the current king of the Seelie was lenient with his courtiers, but Daman wasn't. He was strict and he ruled with an iron fist. Of course, with him being close friends with the Demon King, Lord Satan? It made him even more ruthless. The last time he had caught one of his courtiers with a Seelie, he had ordered his death. But after all these years, his own son was breaking the very same rule he issued centuries ago.
Oh, this is perfect, Tynan thought with a satisfied purr. Then he met Kailan's scowl and smirked. "Can't a loyal servant of the prince come visit his master?" He asked nonchalantly. Kailan's scowl deepened.
"You stopped being my loyal servant the minute you betrayed me to my father, Elf. You are lucky that I didn't banish you," Kailan sneered. Then he took a step forward, towering over the shorter man. "Now, I ask again. What do you want?" he asked.
If Tynan was intimidated, he didn't show it. Instead he stood up taller, and gave his prince a taunting smirk. "Now, now. You better be nice to me, prince. I'm supposed to meet with your father in a few hours. Wouldn't want me to spill the beans about catching you doing the dirty with a Seelie wench, now do you?" He laughed maniacally, and dodged when the prince swung a fist at him.
"Missed me!" he taunted.
Kailan growled, frustrated. Then he took a step back and breathed. The Elf watched him warily, but he still didn't loose his manic grin. He tilted his head. "Aww...Is the prince getting angry?" he asked with fake sympathy.
Kailan didn't respond. He laughed. "Angry? Me?" he asked, mockingly. "The prince of the Unseelie never gets angry, Elf,"
Then without warning, he let the dagger he had palmed, fly. It flew past the elf, grazing his cheek and embedded itself on the ground a few feet away. The elf looked from the dagger to the prince, in open disbelief.
The prince smirked, as he crossed his arms over his chest. "The prince of the Unseelie never gets angry. Instead he plans the best way to kill you,"he said.
The elf stuttered. "You-you? You did not just threw a dagger at me!" he growled. Then his hand flew to his cheek and he touched the place where the dagger had grazed. It stung. His hand came away sticky with blood. His gaze flew to the prince who was standing in front of him, arms crossed, feet apart and looking for all the world, like a smug bastard. Probably because he is one, he thought, grimly.
The prince looked down at the elf and sneered. "You should thank your lucky stars that I didn't aim it a little more to the side, so it's hit you right between your eyes, elf," then he shrugged. "But lucky for you, I need my informant alive and well,"
